I had a very quiet suite on the 5th floor, it was very well furnished and came with all necessities. I slept really well and the hotel is centrally located. It has a beautiful decor and the service was also top notch. I definitely recommend it!!

Hotel's Favourite
I loved the concept of this hotel. Rooms are pristine and clean, spacious, airy. Receptionists were very helpful and they helped efficiently with all my questions. Location is superb, 5-10 minutes from the train station and right in the city center. The price was affordable, thanks to the pandemic situation paradoxically. I would stay at this place again because everything was excellent: design, comfortability, friendliness, location, renovated building... I would love to come back there.

The location of this hotel is absolutely perfect and for us, that was the most vital part in finding a hotel. A 5-minute walk (if that) to the station and right on the doorstep to the city centre. The room itself, however, was not great. Reception told us that housekeeping was not something that happened unless we specifically asked for it due to COVID, which is understandable but we just felt like a hassle asking them to do it, taking the nice experience of fresh sheets in a hotel out of it. Our room had wallpaper peeling from the wall and a stain on our bedsheets, as well as quite inadequate storage for clothing. A few hangers, 2 hooks and 2 coat hooks are all that is available for clothing, which was a bit of a shame. There was also nothing in our room such as a bottle of water even though there were water glasses, but we could purchase a small 500ml water from reception for 3 euros each. We spent nearly 10 euros on 2 bottles of water and a bottle of coke... slightly ridiculous. Of course, staying in a different country, we expected the tv language to be dutch. But since the restrictions meant we had to come in at 8 pm, we wanted to watch a bit of tv before going to bed but there was no way of getting any subtitles of any kind to watch anything in English; but we did have access to one channel, so i can't complain too much! Our view was lovely of the canal which was a bonus, but we did pay extra for this so was expected. Overall, we wouldn't rush back here. It was a great location and that was really the only thing that would bring me back, and I know there will be a lot more excellent hotels with good locations that are more worth it.

The hotel is located just a few steps away from Amsterdam's Central Station and right in the middle of everything, The hotel itself is very chic and trendy with very clean rooms. The staff was helpful and very accommodating. The bathroom shower was amazing and blackout curtains certainly did the trick.

Stayed here this passed weekend for 3 Nights. We stayed in one of the King Rooms with Canal View. The room was a great size and was very clean etc. The location is also ideal for anyone wanting to explore Amsterdam. My only criticism was the lack of storage/ wardrobe space in the rooms. But other than that we had a very good stay at the Mai Hotel and would definitely recommend
