Booked this hotel almost last minute. Saw some awfull reviews, wasn't expecting much. Location is very nice, not noisy during night time. Room was small, but had a window to canal. Shower and toilet very decent size . Everything very clean, towels were changed every morning. They offer breakfast, but no hot meals. Looked a bit overpriced €9.50, so we... More

very basic but excellent location in the canal ring of Central Amsterdam! I was upgraded for free from a single to a double room on the top floor. although dragging my suitcase up five flights of stairs was not easy but the hotel overall offers great value for money.

We stayed here in May 2015 for 2 nights. This review is copied from Booking.com. Excellent location. Wifi free & very fast. Lovely room. We never had breakfast so can't comment. We were very worried about previous reviews & nearly cancelled!! We had triple room. Comfy beds, clean & nicely decorated. En suite clean & modern. Lovely break in Amsterdam... More

Very basic hotel but great location. The rooms are very basic too but cleaners came everyday. We stayed in room 8 which was a double room with shower and toilet and canal view. The steps to get upstairs to the room are steep but not really a problem for us. The view of the canal we had was lovely! Would... More

This hotel is by far the worst I have ever come across. The room we was given was -1 level and when entering the room I was shocked. The room was very dingy and dark and smelt. The walls were bathroom tiles and dirty. The bathroom was very tierd, over used, old and I did not even consider using it!... More

Well situated for a short walk to Rembrandt Square or a 2 stop tram ride on Number 4 tram .. Tram stop very close to both the hotel and annex .. Highly recommend the cafe for breakfast to the right of hotel and the bar on the corner

Had my flight not been two hours late causing me to arrive after midnight, and I'd not been 5 months pregnant I would have left immediately & found another place. I chose this because it seemed reasonable, not-the-cheapest, & in a good part of town. I was shown to my basement cupboard, which had a stench of mould and stale... More

Staff are very friendly. Room was small with only a little window so was very warm but clean. On booking it said shared bathroom but to our delight we did have a little private bathroom which was a nice surprise.

Nice stay! The hotel is quaint and conveniently located in central Amsterdam. The tram is right out of the door, and everything else few steps away! The only down side is that there's no elevator, and you must walk up the stairs with luggage. Anyway, good stay overall!

the staff were pleasant and polite but in comparison to other hotels have used in Amsterdam a little overpriced The room was clean and adequate if a little cramped. Its best feature is its central location
