It's a small place, unadorned by signage but Museum Suites is a perfect hideaway right at the heart of the beautiful museum and Vondelpark area. It couldn't have been more convenient, right on the tram route allowing easy access to all that Amsterdam has to...More

The Museum Suites, Amsterdam: what a fabulous discovery! This seemed to the secret which very few will ever know. Very large and very well appointed rooms. Each room on the theme of a famous artist. I was in the Mondrian Suite. Good facilities in the...More
Stayed 3 nights at beginning of our European honeymoon. We enjoyed the Mondrian Suite but as others have said, the walk up is very challenging, especially after a long day of walking through Amsterdam. The area of down is outside of the "Dam" proper, but...More
Stayed for 3 nights and had the Mondriaan Suite, there's no lift and it's at the top of the house so not suitable for those who have difficulty climbing stairs, but for us it was perfect! The room is very spacious and tastefully decorated with...More
Stayed here for four nights. Quiet, peaceful and conveniently located near the museums.
Tram stop is one block away, so easy to get around.
Vondelpark was a block away.
Staff was incredibly helpful and knowledgeable.
Breakfast was extra, but was very good.
Top sites to see in this attractive and affluent part of town include the Rijksmuseum and the Van Gogh Museum, to name but two of the highly acclaimed museums of the aptly named Museum Quarter. And if you need a break from all the fantastic art, there’s the Neoclassical Concertgebouw music hall and Vondelpark, the city’s largest park. Shopaholics and luxury brand connoisseurs will love exploring the high-end shopping
destinations of PC Hooftstraat, Van Baerlestraat, Cornelis Schuytstraat, and Jacob Obrechtstraat, where even the shop window displays are of museum quality. In the evenings, when the museums close and the daytrippers head home, the area becomes a quiet oasis of calm with a sophisticated and urbane tone.

We got a 'Hotel Taxi' which went to all the hotels in Amsterdam - it's worth checking if you can get one of those because it wasn't expensive and it gets you there directly - worth checking with Museum Suites
