The location is great, steps from the tram line which goes to the Central Station and on one of the ring canals (Keisersgracht). Our hostess was the 18 year old daughter of the owners. She was lovely. The breakfast was typical of what we would have expected in the Netherlands...2 kinds of cheese, fresh fruit, freshly squeezed orange juice, and...

Can't beat the location, within walking distance to all center city sites. We stayed in their garden apartment that provided a cumfortable, quiet escape. Our hosts Helene & Sjoerd and their daughters were wonderful, providing traveling assistance and an expanded continental breakfast each morning. Would highly recommend.

We stayed two nights in the Sous Chambre which was the lower level of the house. Pros - the location was excellent with the tram stop just a few steps away and also many places to visit were in walking distance. The room and private bath were average size unlike some European places that are very small. The breakfast was...

Our hosts were very warm and always helpful. Such a great location, just off a tram line that leads to the most popular attractions and the train station. It really is a lovely place to stay, with a very attractive breakfast area overlooking the garden. We felt like guests of their beautiful family.

The Wildervanck B&B has a few great things going for it: the location, half way between the train station and the major museums, right on one of the three main canals, with a tram stop just across the street. They won some kind of B&B award in 2004, but things seem to have gone downhill based on our recent stay....

The two rooms in this lovely home were already booked months in advance, but the owner offered us a lovely small room and bath in the garden which suited my friend and me perfectly. The free breakfast was amazing with pots of French press coffee, the best croissants I ever had, other breads and pastries, cereals, yogurt, lovely jams, and...

The location is great, right off the tram (less than one min walk from the stop). Hosts are great and the room is very clean. Breakfast is sufficient (included) and Wifi works well. Stayed in the "basement" room but the window to the street brings light to the room and didn't feel like basement. There were street noise but ear...

We stayed in both rooms. The 2 adults in the group stayed upstairs in a large room overlooking the road and canal. The wi-fi was spotty and the 2 single beds pushed together did not make for a comfortable king bed. Our three teenagers stayed in the basement room which the kids called the dungeon. It was tight for three...

We loved this place. The room was charming with a wonderful view onto the canal. It was very close to everything but quiet. The Wildervanck's were very warm people and most helpful. Helene twice made us her extremely tasty special pancakes, and Sjoerd made an egg to order each day. His French press coffee should not be missed. The breakfast...

We selected this B&B based on Rick Steves recommendation. The owners / hosts, Helene and Sjoerd are simply wonderful people. They clearly enjoy running a B&B and treat their guests extremely well. We originally planned to stay 3 nights but extended our stay to 4 nights. For starters you cannot beat the location. It's in a safe neighborhood near outstanding...
