We had an excellent stay at the Canal House. The location is terrific; right by the canal (of course!) in the heart of the Jordaan area. If you decide not to stay at this hotel I strongly recommend the area. It has the feel of a village within a city and there are lots of nice little shops and restaurants...

We enjoyed our 3 night stay at Canal House. We had a garden room and it was lovely. The rooms are spacious, cosy, modern, stylish and felt very high end. The bed was also very comfortable! The bath's are great, i love an open bathroom but for those who prefer privacy, maybe look elsewhere. Staff were friendly, breakfast was simple...

A really nice quiet hotel for a short break stay in Amsterdam, perfect for a couple. Close enough to the city centre but far enough away from the noisy parts. On arrival the receptionist spoke very good English and gave us a quick overview of Amsterdam pointing out points of interested on their map. The receptionist then went the extra...

This is really several antique homes, 4 or 5 stories and elegant, refurbished and linked together. Artistically done, this is a very nice hotel, a bit noisy from the old stairs in our room, but well located on the canals in the West part of the centrum. The staff is welcoming and very helpful, the views out the front onto...

Myself and my Daughter had a great break in this wonderful Stylish Boutique Hotel. It was christmas time and the tree and decorations were just stunning. The rooms are well equipped and very comfortable, with lovely decor. The breakfast area has a lovely view over the courtyard and the choice of food was plenty, if you wished to have cooked...

We have nothing negative to say about the Canal House. We spent 3 very comfortable nights in an attractively designed room - especially comfortable bed, pleasant view over the Canal. Lovely garden (though the December weather was too cold to use it), nice breakfast, excellent reception staff - really excellent: they helped to make what was a good hotel into...

Loved this place. Been to Amsterdam a few times now and love the city, the people etc., but this trip was made so much better because of the Canal house and their service. If you're thinking of spoiling yourself, or you're just used to the five star star life-style, then book a room here. The attentiveness and little extras (no...

I took my wife here for our anniversary just before Xmas. It's a boutique style hotel which caters only provides Bed & Breakfast but there are so many lovely restaurants near by that's not an issue. The rooms are all individually styled in a great mix of modern and chic. The staff are excellent and the location alongside one of...

Canal house is a perfect location to all the sites, Anne Frank House only 2 blocks away, 9 streets "shopping" only a couple of blocks away, walking distance to lots of restaurants and bars. Staff was very accommodating specially Kristal "GM" & Neil's "reception". The staff made our stay from start to finish a wonderful experience, we will remember this...

Very nice hotel installed in three ancient typical Canal Houses. This hotel is very well situated in the center of Amsterdam, if you want to go to the Anne Frank House, it's just around the corner. To the next Tramway station it's a five minute walk an then a two minute ride to the Dam square. The hotel is renovated...
