Excellent property! Architectural detail is superb. Staf is friendly efficient and ready to please. We had two rooms; both exquisitely decorated with lots of amenities . Room 1 on Lower level is in the original 17th century kitchen complete with cupboard and copper pans. The en suite bath was large and decorated in marble and glass tiles. This boutique hotel...

Excellent location, friendly staff. The bathroom was part of the bedroom (no separating wall, no curtain, nothing). A rather absurd setting that was a nuissance. Also, the room faced an interior wall with no direct light. 300 Euros per night is not justified at all. Breakfast was ordinary.

I stayed in the "Best Room", which was beautiful - very big and spacious, with a beautiful view over the canal. I loved the open-plan design of the room and gorgeous location. The service was excellent and the breakfasts are delicious. I can't wait to return!

You won't find this hotel in tour company catalogues but it's well worth contacting them direct. The staff are, without exception, delightful and helpful. The rooms are beautifully fitted out (they do have make-up mirrors but you have to ask for them, which seems a little odd) and the beds are nothing short of superb. I really cannot recommend this...

We enjoyed two nights with an upgraded room at the Canal House. This was offered upon check in, it had great views of the canal and a double shower and huge bath tub (room 23). The staff here are exceptional, in particular Ralph who was very knowledgeable and friendly. He kindly made reservations for dinner and drinks, he also recommended...

A really interesting converted canal house central to everything in Amsterdam. Friendly staff checks in at the smallish bar- making it apparent there isn't really a hotel lobby but a bar-drawing room. This area leads to a library turned breakfast area overlooking the hotels private garden out back. Rooms are stylish and quirky, but luxuriously furnished, many (most?) with bathtubs...

Out of season so the staff were not under pressure but they could not have been more helpful and friendly. Good suggestions for dining and booking the reservation for us. Decorations are quirky, elegant and attractive especially in the bar and breakfast room with high ceilings lots of black paint and just a little gold. I enjoyed the self service...

An unrivaled location to experience all the best that Amsterdam has to offer. You can walk every where you need to from this location as it is in the middle of the 9 Streets district. Perfect for seeing all the small shops and cafes. Regarding the rooms the canal view is perfect. The hotel is quieter than expected, which is...
