We had an unexpected layover and chose this hotel over our usual “member” hotel network – I’m so glad we did! Our room was very clean, nicely decorated, and had a city view (14th floor). Since we didn’t have our personal “essentials” (due to flight cancellations), it was great to have the room amenities (e.g., free water, coffee/tea service, mini fridge, slippers) and variety of toiletries (had both shampoo and conditioner – a nice change from most hotels that have only the 2-in-1 version). The bed was very comfortable, and the desk area was perfect for doing some work. I’m unfamiliar with this hotel group, so I don’t know if all gyms are as spacious and thoughtful in design. While the facility had the usual treadmills and cardio equipment, it also had two separate areas with dumbbells and lots of space in various areas to do exercises and stretches (mats provided). Front desk staff were great upon arrival, totally dismissive in the early morning, and then a little chaotic when trying to check out around 10am. Thankfully, Andrea was able to help us and we saw her move swiftly from one guest/task to another, while a couple of staff were less than helpful and seemed confused themselves re: basic questions or even how to greet guests (to be fair, they might’ve still been in training, who knows). Tip: Be sure to check for a meter when getting into a taxi and/or check with the hotel for the going rate. In our jetlagged stupor, we forgot to look for a meter until we were almost at the airport. The driver said he didn’t have a meter (he did have a taxi sign on the vehicle) and the ride would cost almost 53 euros. When we balked at the price, he quickly showed us his rate agreement with the hotel (which was less than what he quoted – no surprise). I'd stay at this property again due to its location (the metro is just 3-min walk and we found nice restaurants/shops nearby).…

What a great hotel this is! Very large, many rooms. Our room was very comfortable, clean, colorful and soundproof. Very comfortable king size bed. Fridge, coffee maker, beautiful wine glasses: it’s all there. The breakfast buffet is the best I ever had: many options, all fresh. Terraces to enjoy the view from the 17th floor: a great way to start the day. Rooftop (35th floor) terrace (small) for cocktails or predinner drinks (restaurant as well on top floor). Parking via P+R RAI (check conditions). Reception is very well organised and friendly. All hotel staff is very friendly. Checking out Sunday at noon: extremely efficient and well organised. I highly recommend this modern hotel.

We stayed in Amsterdam from 25th August until September 12th. So we decided to try three-four hotels depending on the tariffs as we were in Netherlands to help our inky daughter move in her new accommodation as she starts bachelors degree there. We stayed in relatively good hotels until checked in for the last four nights at this hotel. Firstly the hotel is no-fuss one as check in smooth. Secondly the room is spacious and bathroom too though we stayed on the 20th floor in premium category. Thirdly and lastly I have complaints regarding room cleaning or housekeeping. The bed linens and pillow covers were not changed until were instructed! That too after the third night, which must not happen for top category rooms. We parked our rented car in the basement garage for four nights and found the parking tariff very high considering other hotels. We never had food or room service there so can’t write about it. The air conditioning had tad issue too and there’s a certain required adjustment made to it with the instruction from reception. Overall not a bad experience but could have been better.…

Amazing hotel and the best I’ve stayed in within Europe. It’s very relaxed yet elegant and the decor is just beautiful, you can tell they’ve thought of everything. Not only this but the whole hotel from the lobby to the rooms are spotless. Our room was on floor 5 and a corner room, and we both gasped when we entered due to the size - it was massive! We travelled with our dog so it was great for him to relax in. Beds were comfy and bathroom is stunning and very clean. We were made to feel very welcome with our dog and were provided with dog bowls and a dog bed which was a nice touch. Special mention to Nick from the guest relations team who assisted me prior to our stay with booking balloons and a cake for my grandmother upon arrival. These were hand delivered which was an amazing and generous touch. Already intend on returning next year!!! …

nhow RAI without a doubt is an exceptionally beautiful, outstanding, and delectable hotel, without question. The check-in was smooth, welcoming, and even when we had a minor concern not having a twin room, which was resolved within seconds at the check-in desk and handled remarkably. The rooms at the hotel are very swish, modern, and wonderfully fantastic. One of the best hotels I have stayed in. TV had English channels which was great when we came back after a long day and could watch a movie in bed (also children’s channels, CBBC, BBC1, ITV, ITV2). Aircon was a delight as it did get quite toasty in Amsterdam. The hairdryer was fantastic. All the bathroom amenities provided were great, especially for those travelling with hand luggage only. The coffee machine, tea, water, fridge were also welcoming touches. The beds were exceptionally clean, a little hard for my personal preference, but my mother was delighted, still no fault here. We were offered an option of having a free drinks voucher if we declined our room clean, which we accepted and felt was a good touch and use of staying economically friendly in such a substantial hotel. We had an incredible view of the city, as we were on the 21st floor. The hotel also a shop, coffee/tea machine, sweets free for guests, gym, lounge - which were all delightful. The bar staff - including Sergio, Ethan and Paulie made our stay and I especially would like to dedicate this to them, as they are an asset to the hotel - thank you for all your attentiveness, thoughtfulness, and knowledge. We did not have breakfast at the hotel, as we did feel 28 euros per person was immoderate however, I am sure this would have been equally as brilliant as the rest of the hotel. We were stung at the airport, 70 euros for a taxi - please avoid, you can get a train direct to the hotel - Station RAI, passing walk under the bridge for just 4 euros. The metro (line 52) was a short walk away, and the line was perfect, reaching all key destinations such as De Pijp (which has the best market, but not on a Sunday), Rokin - Amsterdam’s answer for Trafalgar Square, and central station. We thoroughly enjoyed our 4 days stay at nhow, and truly cannot fault the hotel. The one thing I could comment adversely on is the atmosphere in the cocktail bar on the 24th floor, this had a very unwelcoming and pretentious feel to it. We immediately felt we uninvited, so we avoided and remained in the lounge, where Sergio instantly made us feel more welcome and this truly made our stay. With this said, it does not deflect from how stunning this hotel is on all aspects. Thank you nhow for such a delightful stay. …

What a lovely hotel! Just a few minutes walk from the convention center. Rooms are spacious & ultra-hip. The staff are pleasant & accommodating. I always look forward to breakfast -- they have the best OJ that I've ever tasted, & the waffles are delectable. Great accommodation - the team upgraded us to a higher view and corner room which we LOVED! They even added some balloons and a mini muffin to help with our celebrations. We really felt cared for here. The room was spacious, clean and the decor was super lovely. We had great sleep here. It was very easy to arrive at the accommodation via train (especially from the airport!), and there was great links to Amsterdam central. Our favourite thing was the mini sweets bar by the entrance - it’s always nice to see! Thank you for the wonderful stay, we can’t wait to come back.
