It was refreshing to relax at Hotel Jakarta New Year's Eve. A nice change of scenery while staying in our own country for those weary of the travel restrictions. The food options were still delicious, but it was disappointing that the Wellness area was closed. That's one of my personal favorite highlights of staying away from home: being able to enjoy a heart-pumping workout followed by a dip in the pool and finished off in the sauna. All in all, it was a very pleasant experience within a lovely environment.
It a hotel by WestCord. Jakarta serves Indonesian cuisine food. It was a lot and delicious. 😋 They really does good job with a food and service at this lockdown time. I really would come back. Had a great time and good rest.
All great and wonderful experience. Rooms were very nice. Service was typical Dutch, fun direct and informal. One major dat back was that the Samsung television that are placed in every of the 200 rooms don’t do screen mirroring or casting from any smart phone unless it is a Samsung phone. Not the smartest choice. Overall wonderful experience.
We were very satisfied with our stay at Hotel Jakarta and would highly recommend it! It is worth the premium price. +Luxurious rooms +Great common area, spa, restaurant and bar +Super staff, even got a glass of sparkling wine at check-in +During the corona-restrictions, the roomservice menu was tasty and reasonable priced - The hotel is not in the city center, 10 minutes of taxi is required 6/6, I would love to stay here again!
Based upon all raving reviews and a friend’s recommendation, I booked the junior suite for my birthday, a weekend’s stay. It was great! Though the hotel is not near the city centre, easy to access by tram/bus or walk from/to CS, about 20 minutes. Location is good, surrounded by water, quiet. Receptionist very welcoming, as was all personnel! Keep this, the friendliness of Jakarta’s employees make a difference. The hotel’s exterior was simply green, loved it, lush. The room was very nice, great bed, bath (bath plug is oddly placed…) and shower. Separate toilet! Good housekeeping. Great view over the water, across are some revamped warehouses. We had dinner twice at their restaurant, the Nasi Goreng tasted deliciously. Got a complimentary drink for my birthday… it does make a difference! Breakfast was a treat, efficiently run by staff during rush hours. The stay was as I expected it to be, a pleasant (yet, fairly expensive) birthday treat to myself! Could not have made a better choice.…
