This would be the only hotel I stay in when traveling to Amsterdam. It has a great environment and a 10 minute tram from the heart of the city. They also offer breakfast and free movies when you stay in the hotel. Trust me. You won't go wrong with staying here.

CitizenM is a very cool, modern, futuristic place to stay. The staff is VERY helpful, kind and friendly. If it was summer, I think I would have given this 5 stars. But, as it was literally FREEZING outside, having such a small space for two people was difficult (coats, boots, sweaters and no where to put them) The bed was...

We spent 3 nights here on our second trip to Amsterdam. Although a 45 minute walk from the centre of town it was a walk we didn't mind doing and got to see a lot more of the city. Was a great room with funky lighting and see through shower walls. I only wish there was one of them in...

We stayed 3 times in this hotel between our flights to different part of the world within 2 months of travel. CitizenM became like a home to us. Stuff is superb so vibrant and cheerful, like hotel itself. Very clean and modern facilities just breathtaking. Mood lighting in the room is very calming and cheerful the same time. I read...

Stayed 3 nights whilst at an exhibition at the RAI. Probably not for the over 60's who may not 'get' the vibe or be able to operate the remote that controls everything in the rooms but I really enjoyed it. This location had some of the best (e.g. attentive, friendly, caring, hard working) staff I have encountered in many years...

Stayed here with my partner last weekend. We love the CitizenM vibe, having stayed in the Glasgow one a couple of times. The Amsterdam version fits the bill - uber trendy, slick and sleek. It's a little way out of the centre but it's slap bang on the tram line and easy enough to get into town. Staff were amazing...

Stayed here on Sunday 27 Oct and again a week later on way back from a week in Belgium and Netherlands. This hotel is uber funky, with online check in on arrival, funky modern furniture in the very social living area, where you have use of various TV's, and IMac computers free of charge. The Canteen is a hub of...

I stayed at the CitizenM Amsterdam to attend a conference at the nearby RAI Center. This hotel was simple to find, a 5 min walk from the ZUID station, just one stop on the train from Schipol. The Hotel is also a 6-8 minute walk from the RAI center, with Buses and trams virtually at the door to easily get...

From the minute we arrived and were confronted with the self-service check-in, where the reception staff doubled up as the barman, the concierge or the trainee, I felt the hotel was trying a bit too hard to be different. Certainly the staff were friendly and helpful and the cost of the hotel and breakfast was reasonable; however, the rooms are...

Very good service. The room was a bit cold, even with the ac on max, but doubling the blanket worked :-) The whole concept takes something getting used to, but is efficient and works. The staff was very helpful checking in and out even though it was a "do it yourself" concept. I'll probably be back some other time.
