TLDR- book now. We arrived by foot from the central train station (also possible by public transport of course). Location is awesome for couples avoiding the overcrowded areas but still wishing to have a quite stay with a walking/cycling distance to everywhere. Staff was extremely welcoming. Big and clean rooms. Comfortable beds. Hotel Bike rental is very convenient. Very responsive room service. Taxi service (returning home) arrived on time. Highly recommended

We really enjoyed our stay at the Monet Garden Hotel. The staff were welcoming, friendly and helpful. The decor is absolutely beautiful, our room was very clean and comfortable. Breakfast was fabulous with a wide choice of hot and cold food available including freshly made waffles on request. We asked for a room with a canal view which we did get but our room looked directly onto the back of a brick building although we could see the pretty traditional Dutch houses to our right. The only aspect that we felt could have been better was that the restaurant only serves food from its room service menu in the evening so the evening meal choice was limited. On the evening we ate in, one of our choices wasn’t available but the salad and pizza were fine. Staff did provide a list of places to eat on request and we had a nice meal at a Mediterranean restaurant nearby. Checkout time was 12 noon which was great, staff stored our luggage for us on our last day. The hotel is within walking distance of the attractions in central Amsterdam but the staff were kind enough to organise taxis including to and from the airport on request. We would definitely stay here again.…

It is true that during the evening we don't have a full menu available. As we are so conveniently loacted with many restaurants in our city most of our guests prefer to dine out. A very nice hotel. Very nice rooms. We upgraded to canal view and it was gorgeous. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The location is very good. It is in a quiet area, but you are still quickly in the center.

We spent two nights at the Monet Garden. Check in was efficient and we were provided a city map and given some information on some of the tourist spots which was helpful. We had booked a canal view double room but were given a superior which meant we had more space and a sofa bed. The canal view is nice but whether it's worth the money I'm not sure. The front of the hotel is on a busy main road so if it's a toss up between opening the curtains onto a road or the canal then maybe the extra cost is worth it. The rooms and bathroom was spotless and the walk in shower was very much appreciated after walking around the city. We can't comment on the hotel breakfast as we opted to eat out - Can highly recommend Tony's New York bagels which is just around the corner. If you are looking for dinner near by then Olijife is a fantastic mediterranean restaurant.…

The hotel had held over our booking for 2 years due to Covid and were very helpful whenever I needed to make changes. On arrival the reception staff were pleasant and the rooms were very clean, warm and comfortable. The bathrooms looked like they had recently been refurbished to a very high standard. The breakfast buffet had a selection of hot and cold options and the dining room was very pleasant and well run, with staff rearranging tables if necessary to accommodate different groups. The hotel is 2 metro stops from Amsterdam Central, and some attractions were within walking distance, such as the flower market, zoo and Botanic gardens. I will definitely use the hotel again next time I’m in Amsterdam.

Absolutely perfect stay, can't sing this hotel's praises enough. Friendly helpful staff, spotlessly clean, extremely comfy bed, great facilities. It's also a great location, within 15 minutes walk of Centraal Station. We treated ourselves to the buffet breakfast on our last morning, huge variety of hot and cold foods. Highly recommend if you're looking for a place to stay in the city.

We stayed at this hotel over the easter weekend, and can say that 5 stars go to every member of staff. We had a canal view room which we loved and room was well made up every day. The breakfast was amazing and would definitely stay here again. We were supposed to stay here when Covid started and it was no problem for the hotel to change our booking. I was staying from 18th of April till 21st of April with my 3 friends in his hotel. We were from America and this is the first time to travel Amsterdam. We arrived early and we could leave our bags here. room was clean and enough for staying few nights. There was one lady her name was younlee. She was literally everywhere. She was welcoming us and explain on 4 maps for us with coloring pen so that we can find places easily, also she was bar and restaurants, We had lovely dinner, We are very appreciate for her support. Thank you younlee!! We strongly recommend this hotel to our frineds in the future!
