Excellent hotel with good prices. Modern, clean and comfortable. Had a lovely experience with an easy check-in and check-out. Would definitely return. Good location with easy access to public transport and arena. Big rooms and plenty of storage space.
Even after complaining they didn't change my bed sheets. Seems the staff does not care. So I had to sleep next to that weird disgusting brown stains. I hope it's not what it looks like. No recommendation. Sorry. Looking forward to sleep in my bed again.
Amazing place. Very comfortable and clean. Everything was very good. Excellent bed, excellent shower, small fridge, easy location, friendly staff. I would definitely come back again! Easy access to the city centre, there is a metro station 3 min walking from the hotel.
There are two buildings for the hotel, in one of the building there is the self checking or reception can help. The rooms were clean, spacious and nice. There is a real coffee machine in the room and the coffee is good. The hotel is close to Ikea and walking distance from Bijlmer Arena station, connected by train and metro to Amsterdam Centrum and all Netherlands. I have good memories in this hotel so I would recommend it as I was happy with service and quality.
Clean, neat, comfortable. Very nice stuff! Underground is really close to the hotel. Everything worked well, there was nothing to disturb us. What I didn’t like was parking fee and lack of ceramic cups to make coffee in the room.
Needing a hotel in Amsterdam as we were coming to the Ziggo Dome to see Liam Gallagher. The hotel was just right, not in the centre but near enough and the tram service got us there in 20 minutes. The hotel had everything we needed and was immaculately cleaned and well furnished.
The hotel is actually nice but some of the staff are rude. I've had to stay during vivid time with a baby in the hotel. The restaurant is closed. No breakfast or food. The manager told me I can't sit in the EMPTY restaurant to feed my baby. I ordered a breakfast package for €7.50. they gave me stale pastries and bread with the ham and chicken slice on the side. She couldn't even be bothered to make the guests a decent breakfast. 😂 The cleaners don't even clean properly. They use they hand towels and spray and just wipe like that. I assume more effort is made when guests leave but if you're like me staying for two weeks 😂 good luck. After one week I had to move room as the room was smelling and the bathroom smelling because of lack of proper cleaning. My baby pooed in the shower sometimes weeing there and some of the water seeped out out the shower area. Of course I cleaned myself but Imagine that marinating because they won't even mop properly. It's okay for one night but don't waste your money for a longer stay. It's a joke.…
Visited Hotell Levell for a weekend in 2019 as part of a group because of a festival we were attending, so as you can imagine the hotel was extremely busy with guests during our stay. The rooms/bathrooms are nicely designed, had a good layout and were always cleaned/full restocked despite our early afternoon lay ins. Even when we ran out of pods for our coffee machine these were brought up within minutes and without any hassle. To add to the above we returned late from a day out and requested to order food at reception, and even though the kitchen was closed which we were not aware of at the time, we still good what we ordered. All the staff were polite, helpful and approachable, but I found EMMA went above and beyond. Even though the hotel is a few stops away from the centre I’d be staying her in the future Great experience for my first trip to Amsterdam…
Perfect base for Amsterdam. Easy metro journey into the centre and 10 min walk, or 1 metro stop, to the Ziggodome and Ajax stadium. No hotel bar, but micro brewery opposite (with really good food) . Metro tickets available in the foyer. Room was comfortable.Only snag for us was housekeeping. We were delighted that our room was ready early, so we could leave our bags and get out exploring. But we didn’t expect to find someone else’s pants in the corner or half eaten cereal bar under the desk! The following day, despite being out from 8am-4pm our room hadn’t been refreshed. Shame, as this could have been a 5 star review.
After checking in we realised the receptionist had over charged us by over €50 for city tax. When we requested a refund they debited the card a second time. When we told them money had left our card again instead of being refunded the receptionist got very defensive, and said it will now take them 7 days to authorise the refunds. Didn’t get a single apology from any staff member . Quadruple room was good size, however tiles in bathroom were cracked and shower head was leaking. Also 1 of the pillows had a muddy footprint on, don’t understand how housekeeping missed that, although they were quick to replace the pillow .
