Stayed here for one night with my company. We had preordered our food since we arrived late. That didn’t work at all and we waited very long and had to tell the staff several times what we had ordered. Had to sit inside even when it was nice weather outside , they were understaffed. At breakfast it was a la carte, three waiters worked at the same table- everything came out wrong and took forever. They also weren’t happy to be told that. They served guests coming after us, before us and blamed the “slow coffee machine”. First and only time here! The food was very delicious though, so a strong plus for that.

Very uninspiring from the outside but completely cool from inside. Rooms are big and spacious and have an industrial look. There is a Wine Spectator award winning restaurant and bar there, so wine lovers will not be disappointed. And the food is tasty

This hotel is very stylish (with photobooks and a yoga-mat in the room), the staff is very friendly, and lunch and breakfast was way above what one can expect in this price range. I would wholeheartedly recommend it. The only disadvantage may be its location; it is a bit outside the city center. For our purpuses, this was actually ideal (close to the Amstel Railway station), but this might be something that travellers who want to stay in the very heart of Amsterdam might have to look at.

I have stayed in this hotel in early April 2022, the hotel is amazing. We love the design of the building and the room is spacious enough even though we are staying in the basic room type. Although the hotel is not located in the centre of the city, it located just about 5 minutes walk away from a main tube station, which is actually quite convenient as Amsterdam is just a small city. Lastly, i left my work phone in the room and i found that out after arriving home, the staff was so kind and offer to send it back to me. The communication is speedy and smooth. Thank you again for the help! 10/10 recommended!

Fantastic hotel experience! The quietest rooms I’ve ever experienced. Even walking down the halls I feel like they’ve taken the time to mute the sound with their wall sound proofing/insulation, whatever it is it was perfect. Don’t let the outside simplicity fool you this is a truly wonderful hotel. The staff are superb, incredibly warm and welcoming, very attentive and knowledgeable and genuinely wanted to talk to you which was so lovely. You can see the staff are genuinely interested in one another after, often seeing front of house at the bar etc after work, it was a really brilliant environment. I cannot recommend enough The restaurant is OUTSTANDING, I’m a gluten free veggie and my mum is gluten free and the chefs made us a beautiful dinner as the menu was not set for our diets, it was no hassle and I’m so grateful, the best food I had the whole trip. But be aware the restaurant is a little pricey but if you appreciate good food and a really laid back and indulgent atmosphere this is the place to go

Highly recommend this hotel, We got it at a great price and it has a very cool vibe to it. The area is a little out of the way and not central Amsterdam however it’s a very local neighbourhood and if you have business in the area its perfect. Rooms are all good sizes with lovely bathrooms (only showers). Tips - Beds are very hard. If you want a quiet room avoid the front of the hotel as people tend to congregate and smoke at the entrance. Restaurant is amazing. If you’re staying at hotel they keep a few tables for in house guests. Rent a bike & go for a ride down the Amstel.

Nice hotel, situated somewhat out of the city centre but trams, metro and buses serve the hotel well. Rooms are spacious, with nice bathrooms. Hotel is of a modern standard. Staff are friendly and very accommodating. Only negative is the breakfast, this is pricey and not worth it, only average food and quantities are very small.

My girlfriend and I spent a wonderful time at Hotel V (weekend). The room was cosy, the bar and restaurant of very high standards. But the thing that stood out the most, was the incredible reception. Everyone was friendly, and very accommodating. A great human experience !

I will visit again with all my heart, with public transport you can quickly reach the center but you will not experience the disadvantages of the bustle of the city center. the room was spacious and equipped with all comforts.

I used this hotel and The Lobby for a business meeting. Everything was taken care of perfectly. Communication was good and correct. The meeting room at The Lobby was organised very well. The food was splendid. I would love to rerun here.
