My friend and I stayed in the Blue Room after reading reviews in the NY Times, and we had no complaints. Analik's assistant was there at 6PM to greet us and carry our suitcases up the narrow and twisty stairs. The blue room is on the first floor up, so this wasn't so much of a problem (not sure how...

We found this B&B online and decided to stay here after reading some positive reviews. The rooms are beautiful, bright, modern and located in an old canal house in the center of Amsterdam. We could easily walk with our trolleys from Central Station and it was also a good base to explore the beautiful center of Amsterdam. Although pretty expensive,...

We needed to overnight in Amsterdam before a flight out early the next day, and we wanted to be in the city, not at Schipohl. We found this room at Miauw and decided to take it, based on the nice write-up and some decent reviews. It was a nice enough room with a very comfortable bed, and had a nice...

I had two email exchanges with the manager/owner Analik, regarding booking two rooms in a few weeks, and then she suddenly stopped returning my emails. My guess is that she rented out the rooms to someone else (since Splendia no longer shows availability). That is totally fine of course but it would have been polite for her to send me...

My partner and I stayed here in October, we thought it looked amazing value , and the place look really fantastic!! When we arrived it was, nothing like the pictures!! Very poorly furnished, pointless kitchen area!! Hob, but no oven? Dirty coffee machine, tiny microwave, and fridge drawers? No oven or even a toaster!! The shower room was a wet...

I stayed here with my partner in October 2012 to celebrate my birthday and meet up with my cousin who studies in Amsterdam. We were looking for somewhere cosy and special in a central location and came across Miauw Suites on TripAdvisor. We also looked at their own website which promises luxurious and modern accommodation, so we booked the White...

My wife and I stayed in the "black room". The room design was very trendy with all new amenities. Room comes with an iMac and plenty of space to enjoy. The bed was extremely comfortable for European standards. very private feel to the establishment as there is no front desk or services, which we enjoyed. Location was superb with plenty...

according to Steve Jobs, in an interview in Wired magazine a few years ago. Some people think design is about something looks, but Jobs reckoned that deep down design is about how it works. And that I'm afraid was the problem with our stay in the Black Room. The room itself was too small for the large and very comfortable...

Its hard to identify Miauw Miauw as a hotel if not looking for it. It is a typical storefront off a corner street in the Jordaan. Lots of nice shops and restaurants near by. It is 1 block south of the Westerkerk church and the Anne Frank House. It sits right off of the Keizer canal, one of the main...
