The hotel is ideally situated and within easy walking to the city centre and attractions. The secure car park is only a few minutes from the hotel. Optional breakfast at €14 with offer of cooked eggs and bacon as well as usual continental breakfast foods. The room was ok but in need of decoration as there were splash marks at various points and the wc looked a bit tired. The room had an open plan with shower and wash hand bowl incorporated into the bedroom. The staff were very pleasant and very trustworthy, I went to checkout but wanted a bit more time for the car park. No problem.. just come back when you’re ready and settle your account. That’s unique!

We stayed two nights on occasion of attending André Rieu's Vrijthof Concert this year. The hotel is perfectly located minutes from the Vrijthof, in hearing distance from the wonderful music and singing. The vibe on the street is wonderful in the evenings. The room was conveniently spacious with a large window on the street, from where we could enjoy the atmosphere of Maastricht this time of year. The only negative is our room was on the second floor and there is no lift, so with heavy luggage, it was quite unpleasant to carry it up and down the narrow stairs.

This is a querky hotel in the heart of Maastricht, just minutes from the Vjithof square, if you're an Andre Rieu fan. A short walk in the other direction will bring you to the Market Square, scene of an excellent Friday Market. A bit further on is the beautiful River Maas, and some beautiful shops. Built in the 1700's, the dining room is decorated to reflect that bygone era. Our rooms however were bang up to date, (I believe they've had a recent makeover)and, if my 'basic' room was anything to go by, spacious. A special mention for the downstairs toilet. A spiral staircase leads you down into a softly lit basement, crafted entirely in brick. It oozed character, and had me wondering about the hotel's history. A lot of the rooms overlook the courtyard, ideal for a sumptuous sunshine breakfast, or a wind down at the end of an eventful day exploring Maastricht. These breakfasts are really generous, including cooked, croissant, cold meats, jams, bread, cereal, cakes!! A special thankyou to Samira, who saved my bacon quite literally. I hadn't realised the bacon was cooked in butter, but she did! (I have an intolerance) It's a small hotel, which has some rooms on ground floor if you have mobility issues. I loved my stay and the staffs friendly attitude. Can't wait to go back.

This Hotel was perfectly situated for our visit to Maastricht and to see Andre Rieu in concert, a five minute walk at the most. The Hotel was spotlessly clean with very queerky rooms all decorated differantly but in the same style, perhaps shabby chic would best describe them, the breakfast is more than adequite and the scrambled eggs are amazing. There is a court yard at the rear with tables and chairs to relax after a long day sightseeing with unlimited coffee/tea. Most of the staff were friendly, helpful and spoke several languages. We stayed here last year and would definitely stay again. There is no parking at the hotel but we found a very cheep secure car park five minutes away, the owner was very helpful.

This is a lovely old hotel, comfortable rooms with a modern twist only a minutes walk from the Vrijthof but so quiet. Here for Andre Rieu concert so perfect location. Incredibly friendly and good staff and a lovely quiet garden area to drink the unlimited great coffee. Breakfast, with more than continental options, was so good we have booked again for tomorrow. We had a room overlooking the garden and couldn’t hear anything from the outside world. We would return.

"All rooms are good, rooms facing courtyard are quiet. Don’t chose rooms on higher floors if you have suitcases- stairs are very challenging"
