Rude staff, dirty room, broken equipment, without a doubt the worst hotel i have ever stayed in. We stayed for the Andre Rieu concert so the location was good but they totally took advantage of this by charging extortionate prices for a slum. It should be closed down or a 10th of the price!

Booked a family room for my 80 year old mother and us to stay near to the Andre Rieu concert . Paid 400 euros back in Feb to secure the room. Arrived today for a one night stay, and told that the room is on the fourth floor and it’s very step steps ! This should have been told in the description when we booked room. The manager told us the room situation when I happened to mention why we were staying in his hotel , and said no other options . To cap it off just had a stranger open our door and when challenged ran off ! No phone in room to call reception, and will have to abseil down to tell them ! Disgraceful rip off and would move to another hotel if we could Bathroom is so small that when you sit on the loo, you have to be very careful when trying to stand up. Stay here only if you are young and can manage four flights of steep stairs !

Dirty Room. Dust along skirting and top of bed headboard, chipped furniture and marked walls, plug sockets loose from wall, curtains hanging off rail, bedside lamp with defective connection. Filthy toilet brush that had been used and not cleaned! Shower stem was loose at it's base and shower itself was lethal as it went from cold to scalding without warning. It was a cold time during our stay and the one radiator in the room was barely warm, even when turned full. No remote control for TV, and when we asked the Owner if one was available we were told that they have "hundreds stolen" and shrugged his shoulders. We never received one.... Could not close bathroom door from inside due to missing handle. No coffee/tea making facilities in the room, and downstairs bar closed early afternoon so no chance of obtaining anything there. Dirty and old stairways, fire extinguishers propping open fire doors. No offer of assistance with luggage to be carried up 3 floors. Our room was double booked ….we were locked out 2 nights in a row, and one afternoon we had a couple walk in our room with a duplicate keycard, they were alone without a staff member..luckily we were in residence regarding our belongings potentially being stolen! Music from nightclub across the square was blasting away until at least 4am every night! No smiles or warm welcome from the Owner(s) who we approached, just a cold demeanour. Any complaints were dismissed by the Owner, no real sincere apologies, the attitude conveyed was one of indifference and no real responsibility. The whole experience was something we would not want to endure again!

This place is centrally located and the rooms were clean and beds were comfortable which when you travel is all you really need. However what was left out of the hotel information is that there is no lift, and the stairs are narrow and very steep! If you are elderly or have heavy cases this is not the hotel for you! I watched not only my own mother struggle up and down the stairs but also other elderly guests. The staff were not helpful and did not offer to help with anyone’s luggage. The staff seemed very unhappy in general and it showed. If you are a young couple or single then this is a great hotel walking distance to everything and if attending Andre Rieu it’s only a five minute stroll to the concert square!
