1:19 AM still awake, pissed off enough to write a review. Extremely noisy hotel, I can listen in on neighbour conversations, you hear the TV playing in the room next door, water running, toilets ... just awful. Very poor sound insulation. Don't stay here if you want some actual sleep.

We chose this hotel because of its affordability and proximity to the old market square. I realised that it was situated near a major road, but decided to risk it. What a surprise it was! The check in was efficient and friendly. All our questions were answered patiently. the room was a treat to behold! Velvet, crystal, cosy and atmospheric......

I had intended to white a review on D’Orangerie after we had stayed there in July last year but unfortunately it slipped my mind and it was only after staying at a very disappointing hotel last week that I remembered how good this hotel is. We spent 4 days at the hotel. We had been allocated one of the newly...

Check-in was smooth and friendly. We were given an attic room on the third floor as we had booked a triple room. Positives on the room - large room, large bathroom, nespresso, cute furnishings. Negatives on the room - poor lighting (it was quite dark in the room even with all the lights on), when we checked in - the...

We loved our short stay in D'Orangerie: the hotel is very well located, near the terraces along the river and only a few steps away from the Market Square and it's restaurants. This old mansion is strangely built: the ceilings of the second floor are quite low and probably not so comfortable if you are tall (ask for 1rst floor),...

I would love to give this hotel a 5/5 but the beds were terribly uncomfortable. With that aside - we loved our time there. In a great location - right by the Maas river and steps away from the main Market square with all the shopping streets, this hotel is spot on in terms of a city trip location. We...

this old mansion perfectly located, on the Maas river, just few meters from the Markt Square. But our room was in a building nearby the hotel itself, we had to go there (so go out completely dressed) for the breakfast, bathroom in the room with no door, ceilings high enough neither for a medium sized person. No, it is not...

Having recently stayed in a near £100 a night seaside hotel in the UK this hotel shows what a £100 a night hotel should give you. The location is excellent only a few hundered metres from the main centre but not so good if you have car as like many Dutch cities cars are discouraged and parking is expensive. The...

Stayed in the hotel for 8 days, while attending a course in Maastricht University. Nice location with easy access to public transport. Short walk to Markt square & near to lot of nice restaurants. The hotel serves nice breakfast, but no lunch or dinner is served. Rooms are celan & nice. Service is good. Front desk is very helpful. Nothing...
