I stayed in this hotel for two nights with my daughter and grandson. We had two rooms. There was not privacy in the bathroom in our two rooms, as there is a glass door separating the bathroom from the room, but the door does not close completely. So if you are using the toilet and sharing the room, you have no privacy. This made our stay very uncomfortable. The rooms are dated, the bedspread was dirty. Everything felt dingy. I would not stay there again. The staff was friendly.…
We couldn’t have chosen a better hotel for our stay in Maastricht to see André Rieu. The hotel entrance is just off the Vrijthof square so we were there in minutes. We were travelling with an elderly relative so it was especially ideal for her. The hotel itself was nice and clean and the rooms were spacious and nicely decorated. The staff were helpful and friendly. We didn’t opt for breakfast at the hotel so can’t comment on that, I would stay here again without a doubt and recommend it, especially if you’re coming to see a concert in the square.…
Our check in experience with the reception manager not welcoming, his attitude came across he did not any communication response from us, otherwise all staff were friendly, happy, helpful and attentive. The old hotel is situated adjacent to Vrijthof and numerous restaurants, bars and café’s. The old style lift with manual operated door travels to level 3. Our room was spacious with pleasant décor, the bed was very comfortable we slept well, the lighting in the room was dull. A great shower area with good lighting, separate toilet room, good lighting in the entry and toilet controlled by sensors. Breakfast room overlooks the trees along the edge of the Vrijthof, we did not take up the breakfast option. We noted some noise from the stayers that partied on after the concert in the Vrijthof other wise it was quiet. We enjoyed our stay at the hotel.…
this hotel is conveniently located near the vrijthof. The standard rooms are very small with hardly space for more than 1 small suitcase. The wifi worked well in my bedroom but the matras needed replacing and the duvet was far made for cold winters not mild springs/summers. Breakfast was good with a variety of options. Staff were friendly.…
We were pleasantly surprised with the great location right in the heart of Maastricht and close to great restaurants and activities. Was also nice that they had parking albeit for an additional 30EUR/night close to the hotel. Even though we "splurged" on the suite, the room was tired and run down, especially the bathroom which was borderline hostel esque, we and others also had a very annoying buzzing sound that kept popping up every few minutes. We understood the rooms had been recently renovated but this was not the case in our room so maybe it will come shortly. Overall to manage expectations it is 3 star. For 3 stars it is good. Will say staff was very pleasant and accommodating. Would consider staying here again.…

"Rooms on the fourth floor are larger than the lower floors but they also cost more. Standard rooms are too small for more than one person."Read full review
