This hotel has neat and tidy rooms, neat bathroom, average service/ friendliness frying staff. The breakfast was excellent with a lot to offer except if you dont eat beef or pork. There's a large pool available as well for those who'd like a splash.

My husband and I were welcomed back at Newcastle Inn with true and heartfelt hospitality on 30 March, 16 April and 18 July 2016. We stayed in a suite on the ground floor. Our suite was once again sparkling clean and equipped with everything we needed. Tea and coffee facilities were available. The coffee was House of Coffees sachets which...

The hotel is not as good as one would expect (considering the price) but offer the necessary basics required to get through a night or two of business away from home. Decor is not an issue in my life away from home, but the room is so empty it seems very square. The eatery is good and both dinner and...

I stayed at Newcastle Inn for 1 night. My main problem was the very noisy air-condition in my room which you HAVE to use, as there are NO WINDOWS in the room. (only a sliding glass door going out to the garden - that is not safe to leave open at night). If you are a light sleeper - this...

I only stayed for one night, but enjoyed the hotel. Good breakfast and excellent service. The position of the hotel is also good. I only had a problem that somebody started to wash my car and want a fee for it. It should not be allowed unasked for at such a premise.

My husband and I had the absolute pleasure of yet another two nights stay at Newcastle Inn on 2 and 3 April 2015. We had a suite on the ground floor and it was just as perfect as on our previous stays at Newcastle Inn (read about the suites in my previous reviews). The hotel is perfectly situated to explore...

My husband and I stayed at the Ladysmith Inn for the second time on Thursday 13 November 2014. We were warmly welcomed at reception. We stayed in a suite (109) which was tastefully decorated, sparkling clean and very spacious. The suites consist of a bedroom with en suite bathroom with a big shower and an adjacent living room/dining room as...

Had a recent business trip and had to overnight in Newcastle. As it was late I did not have time to search around. The reception was cold and I felt unwelcome. The furniture in my room was well worn out. The place is noisy with guests blaring their music at 3am in the parking lot next to rooms. Will not...
