Property's Favourite Review
For a Swiss Youth Hostel, it was very good ! The staff especially, who are welcoming, warm and helpful. One of the lights in our room wasn't working and they changed it immediately. They also helped us out with train tickets and planning.
We had a room with a double bed. The room and bathroom were clean with a faint smell of cleaning chemicals still in the air. I am very sensitive to noise and was able to sleep very peacefully. We couldn't hear the building site two houses away (looks nearly finished).
The hostel is quite outside the city centre, but very easy to access and in a calm residential area.
I'm giving 4/5 because I've been to many youth hostels in England and Ireland. I'm used to their youth hostel culture, where you can meet fellow travellers during happy hours at the bar, activities and cosier communal areas. This is a Swiss Youth hostel : clean, helpful and organised. The ambiance is different.

Stayed for 3 nights on an interrailing trip with my Fiancé. We absolutely loved it! We had a private double room which used the shared bathrooms. The rooms were spacious, beds were comfy, very clean, so happy that the windows locked open so we could get air throughout the night. Bathrooms and showers so clean and hot water too! The breakfast was super nice, variety of things. Staff so so helpful and friendly. The washing machines were kind of pricey but not out of the ordinary in Zurich. There is a bus stop outside, a tram 3 mins down the road, next to a supermarket, lots of scooters and bikes to hire right outside and the train at the bottom of the hill straight to the station. Definitely recommend!!

Great location, friendly & helpful staff, spacious rooms, comfortable beds and pillows, clean showers & toilets, plenty of room in shared facilities, great breakfast, etc. Not a party hostel (if that's what you're looking for) but nice and quiet. It was easy to meet new people. You can also get great food and drinks at the bar/kitchen and they are reasonably priced for Zürich. The reception can also exchange money, in case you don't have any CHF yet. You will need 2 CHF as a deposit for your locker (you'll get it back); no need to bring a padlock for the locker. Shops, restaurants, and public transport in short walking distance. All up, a great place. I will visit again.

The hostel is right next to a bus stop - and it's not far from the tram either. Very easy to book, friendly staff and the room was spacious. We had pinsa and tarte flambée for dinner - very tasty.
We were able to borrow ping pong rackets and had a great time playing table tennis with the other guests. We'd be happy to come back.

Great ! The staff is very nice. The hostel is large with space to eat or relax, indoors and outdoors, there are even games (billiards, Ping Pong table, table football). Breakfast included and very good. Large shared bathrooms and toilets. Impeccably clean. Lockers and sink in the bedrooms. I recommend 200%

The staff are super friendly and lovely, but they didn't offer any towels and the rooms are very very basic. The location was nice, tucked away in a nice area of town and the breakfast was good, too. However, the mattress was uncomfortable and it was confusing to get there from the airport.

A bit far from the city centre in a residential neighbourhood but the team station is close by. Affordable and clean, with a big common area and bar downstairs. You can also buy souvenirs at their lobby.

Patrik is the best receptionist I‘ve ever met. He is awesome, a treasure to keep in your Youth Hostel. The Hostel is also really nice. Some weirdos hanging around but nothing big. The chef is super nice, his food is delicious.
Thanks for making my stay wonderful.

I stayed in a 4 bed private room and the hostel was great. Modern and well equipped. The room was clean, the bathroom was great and the shower excellent!
Location is average, a short walk to the tram will get you into the city centre in 10 minutes or so. Breakfast was excellent also and a sign invited you to eat as much as you wanted.
I was very impressed with the hostel, which appeared more like a simple hotel, however I disagree with the "flashy" extras, such as smart card operated doors, automatic sliding kitchen doors and some of the luxury extras which have pushed up price and made this hostel expensive.
I give this a 4* since Zurich is very expensive city anyway.
