My wife and I visited Zurich from June 11 to June 14, 2015. We stayed at the Hotel Opera, located nearby the magnificent Opera House, and we were highly satisfied. The hotel is in a wonderful location, close to a lake, clean and not as crowded as many other hotels in Zurich. Breakfast was excellent, great services and a very...

This hotel is an exception in Zurich and in every respect a boutique. The beds are comfy, the room and bath room clean and up to date, the staff kind and caring. The room service expensive but perfect

Well positioned in Zurich the hotel is staffed with very friendly and helpful people. My room as a single and though tiny (by American standards) it was immaculate and comfortable. Walk around and see the Altschadt, shopping areas etc. No lack of good places to get a bite to eat and a free glass of champagne is offered at the...

Started the work day exhausted after being put in this hotel on a business trip. The hotel's thin curtains do nothing to block out the light. A street lamp shone right into my room and if you do manage to sleep, you will wake with the sun. I ordered a wakeup call for 7.15 and received it at 6.15, a...

Dear “carpediem70“. I am sorry to hear that your stay with us was not to your satisfaction. Concerning the light intensity in your room: All our rooms are equipped with roller blinds in addition to the curtains to completely dim out the room for the morning hours. Regarding the room size: our Hotel disposes of different room categories with different...

This hotel is located behind the opera house, in a prime location, just a few minutes walk from the tram and Stadelhofen train station and a block away from the magnificent Lake of Zurich. The staff are friendly, helpful and efficient. This is a sister hotel to the excellent Ambassador a l'Opera, located across the street. As a guest at...

Nice comfortable rooms. Well equipped bathroom, with very good close up mirror. Had bean curry from room service and it was lovely! Friendly and efficient check in. Didn't have breakfast as always very expensive in Swiss hotels

We stayed here for a 3 nights last weekend, and we're not disappointed. Beautifully clean hotel, friendly helpful staff, and absolutely perfect location. Close to resteraunts, bars, swanky shops, minutes from the tram stop which takes you to every part of Zurich, and a few mins from the lake with its stunning views. The nearest train station is a 5...

I always stay at the Opera when I visit Zurich for business. The rooms are nice (although some are small), and the staff is very friendly and helpful. The rooms have air conditioning, and the breakfast is good. The location is perfect - near the lake, train station, and restaurants.

I stayed at the Opera Hotel for a few nights on a business trip. Even though my room faced the street, it was quiet. I had a single room, which was small (as is typical for hotel rooms in Zurich, although there was plenty of storage space. In this room, the toilet and shower are separated from the rest of...

I had a two night stay, but changed hotels in order to be closer to my work. I thought the food was a bit overpriced, but then again everything in Zurich seems a bit overpriced! It's quite central, and a bit noisy outside. Pleasant enough staff, room is clean and has everything you'd expect from a business hotel. No real...
