We had a family room with a double bed and a bunk bed and this was price/quality perfect. Great location and very friendly staff. Free Wifi and breakfast included. The hotel is quiet old, but the room was very clean.

we had for one night half board at Aulac; arrived at 21:30; we had a 3 course menu; first salad, nice and fresh; then fish fillet with belgian fries cooked nicely; afterwards as dessert a fresh fruit salad room and bathroom rather old fashioned, but clean and certainly good enough to stay only one night; breakfast: buffet on an all...

Fantastic views over the Lake, quality was good and value for money; as many Swiss hotels are very expensive. Nice little bar and restaurant with friendly staff, although most only spoke French and little English. Rooms again were good, not luxurious; but clean although not very big. Metro station was next door and we received a free transport ticket for...

I've spent one night to attend to an IMD meeting. Very friendly receptionists, speaking French and English as well. They gave me lot of advices to reach IMD, Olympic Museum and to visit the Old Town. I stayed in room 303, with a small balcony and a wonderful lake view. The room was very clean and free wi-fi included. Extremely...

The hotel is located on the lakefront with few good restaurants in the walking distance from the hotel. You also get local travel pass free along with room. From the rooms facing the lake you can see the entire lake and the view is magnificent. All modes of transport are next to the hotel.

My husband and I stayed here for 2 nights on part of our honeymoon. We chose Lausanne as a destination not knowing much about the city (nor ever having been to Switzerland) and debated staying in Ouchy or more in the city. We were pleasantly surprised with the city itself and went up into the old town most nights (that's...

The hotel is in a great position, right next to the metro station and overlooking the lakeside. A daily taxe de séjour of 2.50 CHF is added to the cost of the room but in exchange guests receive a Lausanne travel pass giving free travel on all metro lines, trains, buses and trolleybuses - best deal ever! We stayed on...

After visiting friends in various parts of Italy, I broke the journey back with a delightful tranquil stay at Hotel Aulac for the third or fourth time. Lovely balcony with beautiful view over Lac Leman. Easy to reach on foot from railway station, or by efficient public transport. For my purpose, it couldn't be a nicer place to stay

pleasant hotel, conveniently situated overlooking the lake. It is very near the metro, so getting around is easy. The rooms are functional and clean, though ours did not have air conditioning, we did have a fan however. Comfortable and quiet (with the window closed).

Thank Mike M
