Stayed here for a week in March 2016. Decent but not optimal location, close to the Sunnegga lift, walking distance from the Gornergrat train and most restaurants, but quite far away from the Matterhorn lift. Excellent breakfast and beautiful view of the Matterhorn from rooms on one side of the hotel. Overall good quality and good value in a spectacular...

We had the mannerhorn view with balcony it was amazing!!! I would recommend doing the zerrmatt helicopter sight seeing tour highlight of the trip!!! Also the breakfast was great in the hotel! There are no cars and trucks driving through there are electric taxis and horse drawn carriages (very cool) although the taxi drivers drive a little to fast for...

Came to use your fitness centre of which I've been a member of for 3 years. Needed to extend my membership but was told unless I paid cash this wasn't possible. More than happy to pay cash but only had a credit card and maestro card with me. I offered to pay cash the following day but was refused entry...

As mentioned when you were at the hotel, since June 2016, the Fitness and Hotel are managed by 2 different companies. Since then, the fitness has to be paid in cash, which is also stated on the website of the fitness center. All outside guests have to pay for the fitness subscription in full, prior to gaining access to the...

It was the perfect hotel, the view is incredible, the bathroom is clean and the bed is nice. Really love and enjoyed our stay there. The breakfast buffet is also complete and fresh, the only thing that I wish is available in the room is a kettle to make hot water because it was snowing when I was there and...

Zermatt is a beautiful mountain town. No cars, no trucks, no big buildings for a total change of scenery. Not the average ski resort with a beautiful view on the Matterhorn (when not too cloudy). So of course the Hotel Phoenix is not a big complex but a very charming hotel. Located at walking distance from the center (10 min)...

A short (10-minutes), easy walk from the train station - not bad at all. We had a room facing the back (from the entrance) with a nice view of the mountains. Breakfast in the morning was decent and the staff were friendly.

It is a good hotel and it is little walking from train station so if you having children or heavy luggage then take the electrical taxi as the road to hotel is little high climb (not difficult). The hotel is very quiet and the staff is very friendly and supportive. The breakfast is good and typical swiss breakfast. The hotel...

We recently returned from a 4 night stay at the Hotel Phoenix and were delighted to book room 506. Our wish for staying in Zermatt was to have a balcony and our room was equipped with two balconies and a lovely view of the Matterhorn. Cocktail hour on the balcony with the mountains in the background can't be beat. The...

Wonderful accommodations! Room was very comfortable and within walking distance of everything including train station. The breakfast was so delicious with vast array of cheeses, fish, fruits and pastries. Will definitely stay again.

The Hotel is slightly away from the station but a short walk away. The rooms are cozy and the staff at the reception is very courteous. It was raining that morning so we couldn't go up to see the matterhorn but the staff showed us plenty of things to do in the village and they also provided us extra blankets....
