We stayed for a night in this hotel. The price is high compare to other countries but it was the affordable one in St Moritz. At first, I've read the reviews and not sure if it's ok or not. But I think it's good and better than I thought! The location is in quite area near the lake, not too...

The recepcionist treated our group like I've never seen before: rude, bad temper... Looked like a concentration camp guard rather than a recepcionist. The apartment was not the 2 bedroom he said, and with shared bathroom. Building out of dated and not at the Swiss level at all. And rooms costed like 5* hotel! Avoid to stay there!

I have to say I was on a budget for St Moritz for an overnighter. For what I paid for 3 of us this hotel / lodge was an absolute bargain. Although room was basic no TV, it was clean and had superb views over Valley. The price also included a buffet breakfast at the nearby Hotel Sonne. The transport...

It was the middle of ski week when we decided to head out to St Moritz, I had 2 weeks to book a hotel and I didn't want to break my bank. Hotel prices can go for CHF4,000(!!) to CHF300. That's the reality of it. Luckily I found this hotel. I got a triple room with own bath. The beds...

A nice guest house managed by the Sonne hotel. The front desk is at Sonne which is nice and the breakfast there is good. But casa Franco has no lifts which is a big downside as you may have to take your luggage up to your room which maybe high as four. The rooms are neat and tidy but beds...

It's clean, but extremely ascetic. Shared bathroom may turn out to be very unncomfortable, when occupied at all times. Be prapared to carry your luggage up the stairs to the top floor. No TV or Wifi available in that building. Breakfast is also nothing special. Suitable for travellers with a really tight budget.

We needed a room for the night as we arrived by train ( Glacier Express ) and were catching the Bernina Express in the morning. We took a cab for about 15 euros to and from the hotel, though a bus stops at the front door of the hotel and goes to the station. The hotel is located in a...

Recently stayed here 2 nights with my wife and son in 2 rooms. We generally stay budget and I always say "you get what you pay for". However Casa Franco is NOT the place to stay in St Moritz. No lift and we had to lug our cases up 4 floors. The place has obviously had no money spent on...

If you want to go to St Moritz and keep the price low, Hotel Sonne and Casa Franco are excellent choices. Very good value for the price. The room was a bit too small, definitely too warm (heat is centrally controlled), and would benefit from wifi, but otherwise, it's perfect for an art/slope hopping holiday.
