Location: Celerina is one of the municipalities in the Maloja Region, which I find most peaceful among the 3 municipalities I stayed in my 9-days trip. The hotel is about 6 minutes walk from Celerina train station or Cresta Palace bus stop, pretty easy walk even with a large luggage . Arrival: Email is sent few days before arrival regarding key deposit in the mailbox, however I arrived too early and it was not there. Luckily reception was quick to pick up my phone call and I was able to enter the hotelino and my room pretty fuss-free. There is a welcome guide book and letter on the living room table, although the letter is in German, easily translatable using Google image translate, which I've extracted the key notes below. Room: Spacious apartment with living area, fully-equipped kitchenette (with oven, fridge, Nespresso machine, electric stove, dishwasher -- perfect for multi-days stay), peaceful balcony with a fantastic view, very comfortable bed with super-plush pillows, nice shower room with walk-in closet. The radiator heater is not too warm but still sufficient. Breakfast: In-room breakfast! From the note, just need to call reception every morning whenever you are ready for breakfast. A nice lady will then push a trolley and serve the plates of food on the dining room table with mains served (bread basket, drink, hams/cheese/salami plate) and optional extras (muesli, yoghurt, chocolates, juices). Exploration Tips: Celerina - Cristolais - Samedan hiking trail, Ibex Promenade at Pontresina, and other hiking/walking trails in Celerina, Samedan, Pontresina. --- CABLE CAR TICKETS IN SUMMER Receive free with a 2 night stay for the Upper Engadin region. BREAKFAST We serve breakfast in your room daily from 7.30 a.m. to 10.00 a.m. Please order it by telephone (breakfast key/reception) approx. 15 minutes in advance. HOME DELIVERY The Hotel Laudinella will be happy to deliver pizza, pasta, sushi or Thai food to the Hotelino. HEATING REGULATORS Located on the wall and on the heating radiator in the bathroom. SKI ROOM You will find this in the garage next to the hotel entrance door, where you can store all your skis, snowboards, shoes, sleds, prams, etc. SKI PASSES IN WINTER With 1 night's accommodation you will receive a ski pass for the Upper Engadine region at a special price of CHF 45.00 per day of skiing/person. We just spent a week at this wonderful hotel and loved our 2nd floor suite (suite 7) with a separate bedroom and balcony. The location, the interior, the service - everything was simply perfect. Highly recommended, even though it is rather pricey.
The suites are apartments with hotel service. Well built and styled to the last detail. We came the 3rd time to this place. We appreciate to be on our own in the cozy living room in the evenings. Small kitchen. Great room service for breakfast. Most friendly personnel. Ideal for skiing as just a few steps from the cable car.
Large comfortable room, hiking sticks available for free rental (unexpectedly needed due to early snow this year), they even offer hiking backpack rental. Great breakfast served in the room. They even provided birthday cake for free for my husband's birthday. Staff were amazingly friendly and helpful.
its like coming home. i had just an standard double room. it comes with little kitchen and terrasse. all is nice setup, with lots of wood and stone, the team is so friendly and takes care, in room breakfast, walk to train, bus and ski area. restaurants and shopping near by.
We are happy that we choice this good place to stay we really recommend we had a good time there and it was a good time when we are there the best thing there is the view it was really nice and we recommended
A lovely place to stay and relax! Great rooms, very well equipped and in perfect condition! Service was prompt, friendly and always helpful, delicious breakfast served in the room and parking facilities available as well.
I spent three nights by myself in the Petit Chalet. I have nothing to add to the general chorus of praises. I had a large two room suit. It was tastefully equipped, had everything you might wish for, and al in excellent condition. My usual complaint with Hotels is "not enough light and not enough electrical outlets" - well here I had both in abundance. Service was prompt and friendly. Celerina itself is a beautiful place much nicerthan its posh and ugly neighbor - St. Moritz. My only two "complaints" are: limited view from my ground floor room, and too soft bed - which is common to most places in Switzerland.
Nice place, breakfast in room is nice one time or twice but for us any longer is a bit too much. Every time we booked a room here, where we want mountain view, we get an 'upgrade' with no mountain view unfortunately. Also ask for a room away from where they prepare the breakfast, or wake up early every day. The service and chatting is nice however maybe the staff can consider to do this away from the entrance doors from the rooms as its a bit loud and annoying, even when we were in the room away from the breakfast we had this problem. The room itself is nice, kitchen all amenities. In winter the heating is very hot, and even if you can control it from the room, the bathroom you cant control and neither can they, so we had to sleep with the bathroom window open otherwise we were being roasted.…
