Very nice quaint historic hotel. Grew to loved that there was no TV in the room. There was a TV room in the main lobby area which I really enjoyed with access to hundreds of channels. Like the fact that the hotel offered a gathering place nightly, TV room, Bar, Piano room, or just sit around the main lobby area....

We really enjoyed our stay in this historic hotel. We stayed in the building that wasn't attached to the hotel, I can't remember what they called it. The view from our room was spectacular. The paint on the ceiling of the bathroom was peeling, and really needs to be sanded and re painted. I didn't like all the oriental rugs...

The staff were very attentive and understood my need for gluten free food. They didn't make one mistake in the whole week on what I was served. I obviously sometimes had a different menu from the others in my party, but it wasn't made apparent to other guests. Yes, breakfast was always the same - cereals, scrambled egg and ham...

I stayed here for a seven day walking holiday with my wife in a room with balcony and views of the Jungfrau. In practice I think all the rooms have a decent view of some mountains. First the bad bits. This is a quaint hotel if a bit tired in terms of decoration and furniture. Breakfast was adequate but repetitive....

We had an excellent stay at the Falken which lived up to the reviews. The position of the hotel in the village is excellent. We. Arrived late at night and were very impressed when we woke up to the view from our south facing room! The food was delicious, especially the buffet. I was following a gluten free diet when...

A lovely and quaint hotel. The buffet was great; although, I'm not fond of fondu. Our room was wonderful, the view spectaular and wouldn't hesitate to come back. We had a comfortable room and were able to recharge our battery. There is no tv but with all the outdoor activities who needs it.

Beautiful and historic hotel, that definitely has a family feel to it. The village itself is beautiful and everything forces you to slow down and relax a little. We arrived on buffet night, which was fantastic, plenty of vegetarian options. On other nights, they paid excellent attention to our needs and made adjustments wherever necessary. Dinners were always candle lit...

First the good things. A splendid old building, full of character and ideally located near the station. Even though our top floor room was at the back of the hotel we still had good views over the village. The room was of medium size with enough storage, a decent sized bathroom and plenty of hot water. Beds were comfortable and...

This has got to be one of the nicest Hotels we have stayed in for many years, where service really matters. We had a beautiful balconied room with amazing views.
