We stayed in the Hotel Caprice for a week before Easter in April 2012 and had a truly exceptional experience. The Caprice is a true gem - amazing location with breathtaking views from our spacious room, wonderful hospitality (especially from Carlos who always seems to correctly anticipate your next drink), some of the best food I have eaten anywhere, great...

The Caprice is on our all time favorites list. You are immersed, and can truly "feel" the Alps. Imagine an inviting modern chalet amidst a breathtaking mountain village, with the ski slopes and a train stop literally steps from your door. The family-run hospitality and Alpine setting are unmatched in our travels in Switzerland. The car-free village has several restaurants...

A fabulous hotel We stayed at the Hotel Caprice in Wengen for a week at the beginning of March 2012. As usual we thoroughly enjoyed our stay with Franz and Brigitte who are both fantastic hosts. The food and wine was again absolutely first class. All of the Hotel staff, particularly Carlos, were all very friendly and helpful, the views...

We stayed at Hotel Caprice for 2 nights in September 2010 as we were doing the Jungfraujoch train journey. We had a car so you leave it in a car park in Interlacken and take the train up to the little town of Wengen. Hotel Caprice is not cheap but we thoroughly enjoyed our stay there. I can honestly say...

Warmly welcoming, quietly attentive, attention to detail and unsophisticated luxury...in other words understated perfection. I escaped here for a quiet, long weekend in between meetings in Geneva and it was just what I was looking for and needed.

We think this the loveliest hotel in the prettiest resort. Franz and Brigitte are so professional and warm, as all the staff are. The food is marvellous, produced by a lovely young chef, served by such jolly staff. The rooms were perfect, ours at the back had fabulous views of the alps and valley, our daughter's at the front overlooking the...

First of all, we had such a warm welcome from the staff who all spoke exceptional English! The manager Brigitte, gave us a quick tour of the lounge, bar and restaurant before showing us up to an ENORMOUS double room with huge ensuite bathroom and a beautiful south facing balcony. We had a TV and DVD player and a mini-bar...

Our family of 2 adults and 2 teenagers had a wonderful time at the Caprice during the February half term. We stayed in the family suite which is large with amazing south facing views across the mountains and valley. Franz and Bridget are most welcoming and went above and beyond their jobs to make our stay memorable. We arrived at...

I have just returned from a week's holiday at the Caprice with my husband and we cannot recommend it highly enough. Nowhere else we have stayed has offered the same degree of friendly, personal and attentive service given by Franz and Brigitte and their excellent staff, who cannot do enough to make your stay comfortable but are never intrusive.
