We are so happy we stayed here. The wellness center is amazing although we wish it was open later than 8 pm. The staff were friendly and helpful with things to do and the best part is the breakfast spread! Highly recommend choosing this for your stay!

A very well run hotel. All the staff were welcoming, helpful, efficient and friendly. The whole hotel is spotlessly clean and well laid out. The location is probably one of the best in Wengen and the pool and wellness spa facilities are excellent. I have thoroughly enjoyed the food and the whole of my 2 week stay at this hotel. I look forward to returning as soon as I can. Thank you to all the staff who made my stay so pleasant.

I was looking for an uncomplicated hotel for my hiking holidays and I found it. The location could hardly be better. The wellness area is spacious. The food was plentiful and varied. The service is unobtrusive and helpful. The hotel room was always clean. The surrounding area offers beautiful hiking trails with breathtaking views of the Eiger, Mönch and Jungfrau. I was very satisfied.

Beautiful hotel in a strategic position. Our spotless room overlooking the mountains and waterfalls. Plus I appreciated the in-room coffee machine. Super breakfast with attention to detail. We spent wonderful moments of relaxation in the spa with swimming pool, sauna and relaxation corner where you can enjoy hot drinks and relax while admiring a wonderful view. Outdoor salt water Jacuzzi with an unrivaled view of the natural beauty of the place. Friendly and professional staff. But the thing that surprised me the most was the kindness and professionalism of the director who organized a tour for us customers at the Staubbach-Bänkli, spending the whole day with us. In addition, he recommended a spectacular wine to pair with our dinner. What to say? It will be our second choice for our next Wengen vacation.…

Great place to stay in Wengen! We got a free room upgrade on higher 3rd floor (double comfort room) and the room view was best you could have in the whole village! Pluses: - great view from rooms on the valley (depending on room selection and floor) - nice swimming pool with outdoor jacuzzi - decent breakfast - friendly staff - very close to the station Minuses (only minor): - balconies might need some minor fixings - check out is till 10:00 (could be at least till 11:00) - would nice for spa to be open till 21:00-22:00 (vs 20:00)

Location 5- within 100 metres of Wengen train station. We just turned left from the station and landed in the hotel. Breakfast is sumptuous with a wide choice of breads, cheeses, meats, coffee chocolate and fruit juices. Also hot beacon, scrambled and boiled eggs and sausages. You have a nice view of Jungfrau from the breakfast room. Rooms- We stayed in the Jungfrau view rooms which had a balcony with beautiful mountain views. Rooms including bathroom were very clean. Beds comfortable. Coffee maker available. Bathrobe and bathroom slippers provided. Swimming pool- Indoor swimming pool with jacuzzi and whirlpool available, included in room rent. Reception was efficient, courteous and responsive to our needs. Only one service call was needed and promptly attended. Ebikes available on rent. In short, a very pleasant stay. Loved loved loved this hotel . Everything about it . The location ,the SUPER FRIENDLY staff , the cleanliness , the food at the evening meals was 1st class . The breakfast had a HUGE choice every morning … loads of things from different cereals , eggs , sausage , bacon , all different breads , honey ,jam and marmalade . Coffee machine had every kind of coffee , hot chocolate Teas . This hotel has a lovely pool too . Just one last extra mention again to the staff 💕💕they are just lovely

This was my first time in Switzerland, and we are lucky to find a place like the Arenas. This is an excellent facility with great service, and an absolute amazing location. Between the hills of Switzerland this facility is spectacular. The breakfast provided by the hotel is excellent, we enjoyed it thoroughly. Truly, an excellent facility!

Stayed in Wengen for 3 nights. Weather was good for 2 days when we could see the snow-capped mountains from our balcony. Room is spacious, with a good-size toilet. Interior of the room looks a bit dated but still remain in good conditions. Great location that is only a stone-throw away from the train station. Hotel has spa and wellness facilities which is a good retreat after a long day out. Would love to have some variety for the breakfast spread as the same items were served over the 3 mornings.

This was a bit of a last minute emergency booking but my what a find - I would 100% recommend this hotel. Very good value for money for the facilities available and with tremendous character - the pool with a view and jets, fountains etc is the best I have ever come across anywhere, and the outside jacuzzi overlooking the mountains is just divine! The staff are extremely helpful and accommodating, the rooms are very comfortable with everything you need - oh my the views!!!! Right next to the train station which is VERY handy but with no disturbance from the trains. Breakfast is plentiful and delicious. I didn't try the bar area but looked very pleasant. Very comfortable beds with massive pillows. I have really enjoyed staying here and will freely recommend to anyone wanting a thoroughly enjoyable stay in Wengen.…
