My wife booked not realising guest house basically meant back packers or close to. With a family of four and suitcases packed for each for a round world trip to arrive and find the stair case that leads to the rooms which was a spiral with no room to lift cases and to top it off we were on the...

Absolutely fantastic stay. Very friendly hosts, restaurant is delicious and reasonably priced (by Swiss standards), rooms are clean and comfortable (with a spectacular view), and the location can't be beat. The included breakfast was also excellent. Highly recommend staying here if in the Berner Oberland area.

My husband and I stayed here for 3 nights and loved it! The service was outstanding and the room was nice, with a great view. Our only complaint was that it became very hot at night- not sure why since it dropped down into the 40s outside at night. Also, it was fairly loud outside of hotel at night, making...

We loved our stay in this guesthouse located in the adorable Alpine village of Murren. The location is great, being steps from the train station, and a short walk to the Schilthorn Lift and Allmendhubel funicular. The guesthouse rooms are located above the bar/restaurant (which serves as the check-in area), and the nice buffet breakfast was set up here as...

The staff was very nice and the food for breakfast and the pizza at dinner were excellent. The location is perfect about 50 feet from the train station....

The staff at Eiger Guesthouse were friendly and welcoming. The rooms were clean, the food was delicious and the pub was good too. We stayed in July (off peak) and thought the room rates were very reasonable. Breakfast was included with the room too. The views were spectacular! We would love to travel back again one day.

Perched high up in the Alps facing colossal Eiger mountains, you couldn't have asked for more beauty and calmness around you. The place is easy to locate as its bang opposite the station. Very conveniently located and since it's a car free village, it's generally quite in spite of being on the road..no lift so be careful with luggage..you'll have...

This was a great place to stay. The mountains were close enough to almost touch and the hotel was very good. The rooms were comfortable, good bathroom/showers. The restaurant below the rooms was great. We ate there most every night. The weather didn't cooperate with us, but that is no fault of the hotel's. You feel you are really in...
