This hotel is not very new. It's tidy and clean. You will find the lift in this hotel is lovely, after a long way of travelling with your heavy luggage. The view from the balcony straight from the hotel room is simply stunning. A whole mountain view with bell sound on cows' neck as background sound. It's so relaxing.

This is a very decent hotel for a good price. Located very near to the train station, nice rooms and very good breakfast. The rooms with a view on the eiger are worth paying the extra. The owners are very friendly and they help you make your stay a real swiss experience.

If you are looking for a great 2 Star hotel in Grindelwald, this is it! The hotel is basic but is clean and comfortable and great value for money. The room we had was very spacious and we were very comfortable during our five night stay. The breakfast, served in a very pleasant dining room, is plentiful and appetising! The... More

Just back from 10 days here. Great spot to launch excursions from as its 1 minute down from the station and main bus stops and at the bottom of the high street. It was clean, tidy, quiet and efficiently run. Staff were helpful and nice, though one of the owners did get a little annoyed when we checked out 30... More

Stayed for 5 nights and was comfortable, warm and had a hearty breakfast each morning! Loved the old style and friendly professionalism of the owners and staff who couldn't do more to make our stay as pleasant as possible. I would stay here again in a heartbeat. Its not the most luxurious, or modern, but for a couple who wanted... More

I recently stayed at the Bel Air Eden for five nights and had an excellent experience. It is centrally located behind the train station, around the corner from the central bus station, and a 2 minute walk to the Coop Supermarket. I chose a single room with balcony facing a picturesque valley behind the hotel. While small and modestly furnished,... More

We spent a week in this hotel. I booked it because it was slightly cheaper than the rest in the area and I was so nicely surprised when we arrived, mostly because it was just next to the train station, and one needs the train if they want to go skiing (which I didn't know as I've never been there... Peter and Daniela never made us wait even at their busiest and even when they were off duty _ if there was such a time. And a helper, a great lady from Austria working there, even put the cornflakes in the saucer for me. My wife and niece were also impressed and we plan to visit again.

We enjoyed our stay at Bel Air Eden and Peter was a very helpful fellow. He recommended two great restaurants for us when we wanted to try some fondue and rösti and they provided a good breakfast each morning. The room itself was small and a bit outdated, but it was clean and exactly what we were looking for -... More

My husband I stayed here while hiking in the area. I loved it as soon as I walked in. We booked it because we didn't have a lot of money to lay out on accommodation, and there are very few 2-star hotels in Grindelwald. But it turned out to be absolutely charming - especially since we'd spent the last two... More
