I visited the Hotel the first time in 2015 and had a good experience but when I came back this January 2021 it was so bad that I had to write this review, the rooms weren't clean at all, there was dust under my bed looks like housekeeping didn't even vacume it in months. and the service is just not there, I had to search for the staff to find them.

Celebrated my birthday in Chateau Gütsch in September. My girlfriend organised a surprise trip. Outstanding and romantic, fabulous boat ride along the lake and visit to the spa on top of the Rigi. Lovely bar with friendly staff.

Spent 3 nights at the Guetsch in August Fabulous views. out over the city and the bar does the best Negronis ever. Lucern is a small bustling town staying here, hidden in woods high above the town allows you a perfect spot to explore and then step back and relax, and its still only minutes back down into town via the finicular. We took the ferry out into the lake and then a finicular up Rigi, borrowed the hotels e-bikes and explored the surrounding woods. However with more time we could have done a lot more. A fabulous break. We loved sitting on our little balcony listening to the city bustle and the clank from the church bells. Reading our books. Really feels like travelling hearing the sounds of a foreign place

This has got to be the choice hotel for Luzern with views across the town and lake. Refurbished chateau hotel in an elegant traditional style but also modern... Cocktail bar had a luxurious feel and a great selection of drinks. The stand out star of this hotel is the amazing Simone, she was super helpful and gave great attentive advice on things to do in Luzern and surrounding area ... The perfect weekend break... weather was dreadful when we visited so was very grateful to book such a lovely hotel. If pool, spa and gym could be added then this would have been a 6 star experience.
