Beautiful hotel, central location, comfortable beds and awesome breakfast buffet at the river terrace.

It is fairly close to the central station and Lake Lucerne and therefore the scenic old bridge (Kapellbrucke) and the promenade along the Reuss river.
We stayed for 3 nights in June, the rooms although small were clean and adequate, beds comfortable, and continental breakfast included in the price was sufficient.
Good hotel very close to everything. Rooms a little on the small side but very neat and clean, beds and pillows are very soft and lots of doors banging during the night echo up the stairway. Not a huge breakfast...
I had booked the panorama suite and room next to it for our 3 kids. When we arrived we were shown upstairs which consisted of room with large dining table and couch, panorama room with balcony, mini kitchen, table, another huge room with single beds and a large bathroom with a nice deep bath. The whole of this upstairs area was ours! The place was clean and tidy. There is a very spiritual feel to the place with buddah statues, dream catchers, crystals etc in the rooms and through out the garden. The gardens could have done with some tlc - weeding and maintenance mainly. But that didn't bother us - our kids had a great time playing soccer each evening out on the grass. We decided to have breakfast downstairs each morning which was delicious - selection of local cheeses, fresh crunchy breads, spreads, fresh coffee and juices. We had a car and this was very handy as it was only a short drive to the city (10 min) and we also drove to Mount Titlis and Mount Pilatus. This place is right on Lake Lucerne, views are amazing, the private beach and boathouse are lovely. Although the temp wsn't warm our boys went swimming in the lake. The lovely Mandy who seemed to be a caretaker, was very friendly (as was her son who played soccer with our boys each eveing). She allowed me to use the washing machine and dryer.…
Well, the location cant be beat. Close to the bus and right on the lake. The house could use some minor renovations (paint, house grounds). The rooms were decent though no screens, which is comman in Europe, would have been nice to avoid the flys and mosquitoes. The pool was horrible. Tiny, dirty and why theres a diving board in four feet of water boggles the mind. We did have a problem the first two nights. A large group was staying participating in an Indian sweat ceremony. It felt kinda creepy, looked more like a cult. The group pretty much took over the comman areas inside, patio and private beach and were lound until the early morning hours. We only saw the owner once when we checked in which normally is great except when you need something. TP, towels, information. Nope. I dont recommend this place.…
This is an amazing place very near Luzern (Lucerne). All amenities are very close (rail station, bus stop etc.). The views are awesome! Very highly recommended for anyone who just wants to unwind, relax and maybe even meditate. The place is very conveniently positioned to visit most of the attractions in central Switzerland.
