+ The actual hotel Roesli is across the street & we were put up in Hotel Basseltor. Roesli seems to be closed or 'taken over' by Bastion. But no complaints, both hotels are of the same quality. + The rooms are huge for the price you pay. + Big & well equipped bathrooms. - No water Kettle in the room.... More

I just stayed there for 1 night as a stopover between France and Italy. Despite arriving much later than announced the guy at the reception was very friendly, helpful and patient. He waited outside the hotel for us to give us tips where to find a parking space over night and he recommended the nearest restaurants and marking them on... More

I would never recommend, no reception (other side of the street) and not very kind or helpful, no common areas, no parking (25 CHF/night in closest public parking), no breakfast, small and uncomfortable beds, no elevator, poorly decorated...and expensive. Good location, but Lucerne not very big city and for sure there are better options. Don't trust the pictures, are deceitful

This hotel stay was very comfortable. Hotel rooms were very clean but small. The reception for this hotel is across from the road at Baslertor Hotel. The manager was very friendly and helpful. There is a swimming pool that you could use if staying at Rosli. It is located in the old town and so very convenient for a visit... More

We booked the hotel through Venere.com, and stayed there on 21st March 2016. The hotel is around 1 Km from the train station - Take a right after coming out you will see a cross road, walk straight along the bridge, there you will see a bifurcation, remain right, few flight of stairs up and then down, take first left... Walking distance to everything. Quiet. Comfy bed. Warm. Affordable. It was in a lovely quiet street and across the road from a lovely bakery. We loved that it was only a few steps from all the sites and shops. We looked to stay at other hotels but they were 3 times the price, and this was affordable. Parking fees at... More

I was staying one night in Luzern with my parents, I booked a triple room with a reasonable price (CHF 40/person/night). The facilities were okay with basic needs and typical Swiss guest house. The local area is quite and only 10 minutes walking from the main train station. The staffs were nice and very helpful. The only minus point was... More

The price is really expensive staying in Lucerne but this was the cheapest we could find plus the great location it's in. Once checked in, the place was an average no frills budget hotel not worth the money we paid for but the location is great.

Booked this with only a few days notice and was shocked to find out how expensive it was. This at the time was one of the cheapest for 4 of us. Drive to Lucerne was nice and we found the the hotel. We were informed that we had been upgraded and were in the place opposite on the top floor.... More

Location, location, location. Clean sheets and good water pressure ! The place is really basic, no frills at all, but if you want to be bang in the centre of Lucerne then it's perfect. Friendly staff.
