What an amazing hotel! My stay was Superb. The hotel facilities were great, room fully equipped. The bed was super comfortable, actually the entire room was very cozy, nicely decorated, very well cleaned, all properly disinfected, the fig shower gel is amazing. The location, I couldn’t have asked for a better location, it is in the middle of the old town, you walk outside the hotel and the lake is on the right hand side right in-front of you. The staff were super nice, friendly, smiling and helpful and I mean all of them, including the kitchen staff. Breakfast is nicely done and very fresh as well. I have nothing negative to say about the hotel, I was well treated there, the receptionist saw how tired I was after a long drive from Lugano and she was very patient with us. I definitely stay here again next time.…
We booked our stay at the Hotel Weisses Kreuz in February, before the COVID-19 pandemic. This trip was meant to be our honeymoon, but as our wedding, it had to be cancelled. Just like the rest of the world, we could not have foreseen these circumstances. Since, we contacted them and kindly requested a refund, our booking being over 2 months away at the time. Out of 5 hotels booked for our trip, all under the same ‘’non-refundable’’ condition (which we thought was highly unusual but that’s what was offered for all), Hotel Weisses Kreuz is the only one who refused categorically to refund us. Others were understanding, compassionate and we will do our absolute best to book with them when we can finally go on our honeymoon, these are: Augusten Hotel Munchen, BNB Belalp in Montreux, Hotel Gasthof Goldener Greifen and Airbnb. Hotel Weisses Kreuz is grossly profiting from our misfortune without having incurred any costs and with ample time to book other patrons. It’s appalling and I would never do business with them.…
Warm welcoming, room not too spacious but clean. Centrally located, close to the bridge bars and restaurants. Breakfast with limited choice but still acceptable. At the hotel, available parking cards for 15chf (24h).
A cozy, comfy and quiet boutique hotel in Old Town. Basic buffet breakfast with cereals, coffee or tea, juices, yogurt, bread, cold meats and cheeses, hard-boiled eggs. The hotel houses an Italian restaurant serving lunch and dinner which also allows access to hotel reception and rooms. Room 501 is under a dormer and has a private sundeck with partial river view. The bathroom is compact with shower stall under a dormer, so if you are tall you may have to stoop a bit. A 10 min. walk from train station, tho map directions were somewhat confusing--a better route is after crossing Seebrucke bridge, take immediate right on Rathausquai (along river), follow until Da Ernesto's restaurant, and make immediate right just after.
Excellent location, great staff attention and best cost/benefit rate. In the heart of old Luzern and served by restaurants and walking distance to the main touristic spots. We have chosen a small room, but it was very comfortable and perfect for short stay.
