You won't be finding any staff in the evening hours, service is difficult to get. It gets deserted in the night hours. Location is good, breakfast is ok and staff is very stiff and unfriendly. Try avoding rooms in the back side of the hotel.

This hotel was picked for us as part of our Grand Tour of Switzerland package. It is a very nice property and with a great location. The staff were excellent nd it was easy to leave the hotel and wander around this beautiful city. We were travelling by train and every bus at the stop goes to the train station. There were 8 of us and all enjoyed this property.

The hotel is surrounded by restaurants and near sightseeing spots but our room is facing the main road so the noise is too much so we couldn't sleep. There is no ventilation in the room so we have to keep the window opened. The traffic and vehicle noise can be heard even when window is closed. Reception staff are friendly and helpful. The cafe provides free beverage during the day.

Dear Nicole Thanks for your Feedback. We are sorry you spent a restless night with us. We only have the fans permanently in our rooms during the summer, but of course we would have given you one. We hope to welcome you again in Lucerne and send you our best regards, Sonia & Team

Greeted by friendly receptionists. Small hotel with great central location. The room was clean, beds comfortable and shower powerful. The only aspect I did not like was that the room was too warm and the windows did not open wide enough to let in the fresh air. There was a standard fan in the room but it did not make much difference to the temperature.

We thought this hotel might be a bit too far to walk from the train station but it was fine and all on level ground. It overlooks a busy road but we did not notice the noise - probably because of the double glazed windows 😊. Perfect location to investigate the old city as its right on your door step. Don't bother with their pub next to this accom though - they are really rude and everything is way overpriced. We found the room to be smallish but enough room for us and our suitcases. It was modern and clean. Breakfast was lovely and the staff, especially the young girl worked so hard but still had time for a smile and special requests. You must try their boiled eggs - I thought they would be dry but no, they are cooked just right and are free range (yum). Not a big selection but all very fresh and trays kept full. I would definitely recommend this place.
