My husband and I recently returned from a 4 night stay in this hotel. We were celebrating a special occasion- my 50th birthday. I highly recommend this hotel for its service. It was superb. The hotel manager, Urst, managed to get us tickets to the Lucerne Music festival on my birthday as well as a reservation at a very nice...

We stayed at The Hotel on the occasion of a trip to the Lucerne Festival (gift from my wife). It was simply perfect. In particular the outstanding quality of the service needs to be highlighted: the team was super-friendly, cheerful and at hand with support all the time. We had made reservations in the hotel's Bambou restaurant after the concert...

The Hotel is on my top 3 favorite place of all time. When I think about Lucern I don't even think about the sights around the city, I think about this hotel. First of all I booked last minute at a great rate. It was one of those deals where I pre-paid and saved a lot. So this awesome hotel...

I won't go on and on, I'll only say that we had a lovely stay The Hotel. Read the other reviews and believe them. Our room was quiet, the staff excellent, everything smelled nice, the room was large, the bed amazing, the decor fun and hip. I want to go back to Switzerland just to stay here again. Sigh...

Lovely hotel! Big room, original design, perfect service, attention to detail, great location.... I really can't find anything I did not like about this hotel.... This is kind of the hotel where you do not want to leave the room!

We arrived around 2pm and were upgraded withoutr asking to a large corner room facing " THE BELLS "..............located atop a modern Church within 100 meters they chimed the hours from 7 am to around 10 pm. Occasionally there were 15 minute sessions which almost drowned out speech in the room even with the shutters down. Having said that.......THE Hotel...

First off, this hotel's website gives more than adequate description of its style and ambiance. I booked it with full understanding it was not a typical Swiss experience but hoping it would WOW my mate on her first visit to Lucerne. It did, but staying for four days also exposed some of the downside of modern design. The good news:...

With all my travels, I do not find time to write reviews but in this case its worth highlighting that this is certainly one of the best boutique hotels in Switzerland. Rooms were very modern and eclectic. Service was superb. As an example, I was not happy with with their restaurant service and I mentioned at the front desk that...

We stayed in Lucerne only one night and we definitely enjoyed being at the Hotel, which is located 5/10 minutes walking distance from the historical center. Besides the location (which is not necessarily a negative aspect considering that there are no parking problems), the hotel is wonderful. We stayed in a room with garden (there is no garden in the...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
The Hotel is a unique establishment exuding charm and charisma in Lucerne Switzerland. No two guest rooms are alike – and each has a tale to tell. They lean away from the familiar and the everyday. The art lies not so much in what is included but in what is left out. Guests are invited to abandon themselves to the inspirational poetry which characterises this sense-awakening boutique deluxe hotel. ... more   less
