My family (2 adults and 2 children) stayed in this hotel from Nov 24th to 26th, 2014. Initially, the hotel made a blunder arranging for a connecting room. However, the friendly and helpful staff (in particular, Samir) worked hard to rectify the situation. During our stay, the hotel staff did their best to meet our needs and that included recommending...

We stayed one night at this hotel while attending the opening concerto of Lucerne Festival. The hotel is conveniently located in the city centre, 5 minutes from both the concert hall and the famous wooden bridge. Rooms are quite small as we are talking about a historical building, but everything has been recently renewed thus it is super nice, new...

My husband and I stayed here for three nights in November. We can not say enough about this hotel. It is conveniently located, clean, great beds & rooms and most of all - THE STAFF!!! They were so kind, friendly, accommodating and just wonderful!!! They helped us with dinner recommendations and reservations. And the breakfast was hearty and the coffee...

We stayed 2 nights in room 505 a deluxe king room facing the Platusstrasse. it was a very nice room with a cement porch which was so narrow a chair would be hard pressed to fit in. But you get a nice look at the town and surrounding hillsides. The bathroom had a rainforest shower, and on the wall behind the...

Had the pleasure of staying a second time at this little, tiny Renaissance. Nature, local people and the staff of the hotel once again made this place one of my favorites in the world! Samir and Mara and Nora and Mr. Bishoff (?) all went out of their way to help make my stay absolutely perfect. One minor imperfection -...

Check in was quick and easy. Room was clean, tidy and newly modernized. Nice big TV and huge bathroom. Shower was fantastic. To be honest, the choice of TV programming was rather limited. I had a night in and there wasn't really anything to watch.

Yes the location is great: walking distance to train, old town, the lake and the river But this hotel is much more than that. It is built in an old manor house, carefully remodeled. The interiors are modern, but warm, and have kept some of the period details. The beds are so comfortable, you'll want to sleep in. The in...

Reviewing: Deluxe Room, Larger Guest room. Great hotel for train travelers. Three minute walk from station. 6th floor corner room had the best layout of any hotel room I have ever stayed in, in any class. Fast WiFi. Reception was great. They helped us figure out how to get up Mt. Pilatus when we thought we were too late! Only...

Our room was bright, quiet, spacious, extremely clean, and decorated perfectly with a mix of old world and modern design and artwork. We particularly appreciated the modern and sleek fixtures and plumbing, as well as the in-room amenities - small refrigerator and Nespresso machine. So enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend this property to travelers looking for an excellent...
