I stayed at this hotel with my friend from 7-9th February having little expectation given the reviews. The hotel is located a couple of hundred metres from the train station. (Top tip get the train from the airport it’s one stop and taxi fares will cost you 40chf as opposed to 4/5chf on the train). The hotel reception staff were wonderful and showed us to our ground floor room. Again little expectation and I wasn’t looking forward to the noise as per the reviews I’ve seen and morning breakfast rush. No, nothing, no noise and no fuss. I was absolutely pleasantly surprised how calm and relaxing this hotel was. Our room 75 was lovely, clean, well presented and modern, it had a safety deposit box you didn’t need to pay for and a large smart TV where I was able to log into my Netflix account. The staff were wonderful and attentive. We were provided with travel passes which meant we didn’t have to pay for it when entering a station. I’d recommend this hotel if you want to stay local in the centre with the ability to walk to shops, cafe’s, restaurant and bars as well going for a short walk or boat ride to the old town. This is where you’ll find more historical places to see. …
We booked a deluxe suite with 2 bedrooms for the 4 of us and was surprised when we arrived one of the bedrooms was quite small but all set up for 4, bathroom was really nice, must have been done recently and was very clean. The service was amazing, the gentlemen at the desk were lovely and very helpful with everything, even running to an empty room to fetch us extra pillows. Location is amazing and walking distance to the tram tops and the main station and bonus they gave us a free travel card for the city. Breakfast was great, smoked salmon included and lots of choice from cheese to cereals, pretty impressed with the selection. I’d recommend this hotel if you’re using it as a pit stop for exploring as good location and clean with a hearty breakfast is just what you need!
Very close to Geneva train station. Looks very basic when entering, but the staff are friendly. Tiny lift. Room clean and modern bathroom. Only thing the room needed was a kettle to make some hot drinks. Breakfast was lovely with a nice selection of cheeses, cold meats, salmon. Certainly better than expected . Very convenient for the one night we stayed.
I forgot several items of clothing and when I called the next day, they said they hadn't found anything! Checked out at 11 h, the maid was next door, I guess she was going to clean our room right after that. Can someone please explain to me how clothes disappear from a locked room in minutes??? Very disappointed! Not a lot of cooperation or desire to investigate further from the hotel employees either...
very well oriented in the heart of downtown Geneva. Excellent rooms, very clean and excellent services. Highly recommended and make sure you book in advance because it is on high demand. I loved it that was my fourth time staying there
