Hotel Bernina has an unbeatable location, from Geneva airport ( btw they have a machine by the luggage belt which gives you free ticket to any transport for 80 mins) you go to the trains and get the train to Geneva it only takes about 8 mins and the hotel is just opposite the station right in the city centre...

Excellent location for commuting. Free bus ticket given by the hotel for transport around the city during your stay. Room was great. Clean, comfortable and great size. 42 inch satellite TV so was great for watching channels in English during our stay. Breakfast is basic but good quality. Staff are extremely friendly - very warm and welcoming.

For its age, the hotel Bernina has been well maintained with equipment and facilities dating from the 70's. The maintenance must be expensive, reflected by the high price of the room I had. When did you last see folding lift doors and a shower that doubles as a bidet (which has unfortunately been disabled)? Still, the position across from the...

It is just ok. The main advantage of this hotel is the location, right in the middle of all transport junctions (train station, trams, buses, etc.). Second, it has quite nice breakfasts. The hotel rooms are small mostly, but some of the corner ones are quite big (601 or 605, can`t remember exactly). I would say it is ideal for...

The location is great - just opposite the main Railway Station. The front desk is serving well and rooms are clean, but very basic. The breakfast is god enough to start the day. Just suitable for a one night stay, if you do not want any luxury. Over all the hotels are very expensive in Geneva - Bernina is one...

Its among of the 1st hotel you see once you exit Main train station. I find it easy to stay here as its close to almost everything in Geneva. the only i find it funny is the TV positioning. Lots of great eatery nearby so you won't be famish for long.

On first impressions of the reception area this might appear to be a fairly typical business hotel. The usual shiny surfaces, sturdy furniture and yellow metal features tell you this is a traditional hotel. I do recall reading somewhere that this hotel was built in the 30s although upon reading that I didn't maybe sense the unspoken warning - "Beware...

Geneva has some beautiful hotels and they charge through the nose for them. Sadly it's 3 star hotels are often run down and in desperate need of an update! Unfortunately these hotels are also expensive for the product they provide...welcome to Geneva. If you come during a busy period you will pay big money for a very basic product and...

We had a one night stay in Geneva at end of stay in Chamonix, and could only find this hotel as Geneva motor show was about to begin. The prices outrageous, the hotel standard poor, room terrible. Only good thing was staff and location. The Swiss know how to charge a lot of money for very little.

Certainly not the most modern and raffinate rooms I ever visited. Nevertheless, location, cleanliness and comfortable beds, warBm welcome at reception. Breakfast is included, hot water available in the lobby free of charge. I would definitly return !
