Stayed only one night in Edelweiss during our mini holiday to Geneva and had a great stay. I really liked all the wooden décor and the little picturesque touches all over the hotel, this wasn't one of the anonymous chain hotels. The reception area was cosy and our room was very comfortable too. There was no noise at all, actually...

Nice little hotel serving great food and staffed with very pleasant and competent people. Easy access from town centre and attractions etc. (restaurants, lake..) and 15 minutes from airport.

Manotel Edelweiss is a very nice hotel. I agree with others that it's not in the most stunning of areas, yet it is in the most convenient location to get around. This hotel was superbly clean, offered free-internet, and had helpful staff in addition to spacious and tidy rooms with plenty of closet space and comfortable beds. Our room faced...

We stayed one night after a flight from US. Were able to check in early -- a real plus. Room was very clean, had everything we needed, spacious and comfortable. The only noisy time was afternoon when staff was cleaning adjacent room. Front desk staff spoke English, was helpful in exchanging money and loaning electrical adapter. (Hint: ask early if...

Manotel Edelweiss was a really good hotel. While probably not the most beautiful spot in Geneva, it was still a good location - walking distance to the lake , restaurants and cafes and close to the train station. The beds were very comfortable, the room was nice and clean and there was a computer downstairs for free internet. Although this...

A welcoming exterior and reception area make a good start to the weekend. Rooms are spacious, clean and well decorated within the traditional 'Swiss' Alpine style. Coffee and Tea facilities in the room were useful, though were not replenished after the first day, which was a real shame. The service was great on arrival and first impressions, however this did...

The reception at this hotel was a mix of a great welcome and professionalism. The staff was very friendly, asked all the questions that I asked them, gave me a map of the city, and a free card to use in the Geneva mass-transit network. The hotel has free wireless which is a very good point if you are traveling...

We knew this hotel was going to be very twee but it was the most reasonable we could find in a good location. We had decided to stay for a couple of nights in a medium priced hotel and to splurge on a 5* for our last night in Geneva. This hotel is very small but the rooms whilst twee...

10 mins from Cornavin train station and not far from the old city centre. This is the 3rd time I use this hotel when passing thru Geneva. The restaurant was very good and great fun for the kids, with an Alpine folklore and setting.

Loved this hotel and its super location- near Lake and train and coach stations. Loved the twee Swiss decor and well furnished rooms. Helpful reception staff and lovely breakfast. It was very quiet and the air conditioning was a blessing. My teenage sons like the previous reviewer were not too impressed with the cheesy smell though!!
