This hotel is one minute walk from the central train station, which means you can easily travel anywhere in the city using the complimentary city travel card that I received. The train station area also has plenty of shops, restaurants, bars and clubs. The old town is just a few minutes walk away, and again if you are lazy you...

This hotel is not as expensive as s lot of other hotels in Geneve. But you will still get a decent experience like most other Best Western hotels. We stayed for two nights and got a very professional service, when we arrived. The rooms are ok, and breakfast likewise. One negative thought: I asked for a knife in the reception,...

A basic value proposition, but running one's own business obliges you to seek not much more than a clean room, power shower and a window that opens. Decent breakfast included, no complimentary fruit bowl, but the cove on the desk was very happy to find me an iron and board in double quick time.

let's start with the good. . .then move onto the bad. . .and finish with the ugly. Ok, firstly, the good thing about this hotel is it's location. It's right by the main train station (Cornavin); there are quite a few shops closeby; and the lake is less than a five minute walk. Also at checkin, they give you a...

I don`t understand people who want to live in THE center and then complain of the noise. You want quiet- live further away. My husband and I stayed at the Strasbourg for four nights because we wanted to be near the Place Cornavin which is in the center, has tram lines to EVERYWHERE and is a walking distance to the...

We stayed at the hotel for one night in September. The rooms were incredibly hot and we slept with the windows wide open and a large floor fan going all night. We were at the back of the hotel, which on first glances looks the quieter option. There was almost constant noise throughout the night, both from people and from...

The front desk was friendly, they offer maps of Geneva and the usual free ticket for public transport. The elevator is very small. The rooms have no air condition, and due to shades in front of the windows, fresh air does not really circulate even with an open window. However, they have a fan in the room, which helps a...

We stayed there 2 nights last summer during a heat wave. The hotel is very well located, close to the train station. The room was clean but there was no AC... It was really hot and we could not open the windows because the bar across the street was quite busy. The hotel staff was courteous and helpful. They gave...

I stayed in Best Western Hotel Strasbourg for 2 night to attend a conference. The hotel is located perfectly, near the trainstation and only a 10 minute traintrip away from the airport. Around the corner of the hotel many restaurants and shops and the hotel is close to the lake, about a 7 minute walk. The room is not very...

Stayed there for two nights, paid 210CHF (over $300 USD) per night incl basic breakfast. Rom was quite small...even by European standard. Twin bed + bathroom with shower stall. My room was on 2nd floor and with no A/C in the room, I had to keep the windows open at night. Temperature was comfortable but the hotel is right across...
