Very good location, 10 minute walk from train station. Reception was helpful. We were a family of 4, with 2 teenage boys. I hadn't stayed in a hostel for 25 years, but we were not the only non-20-year-olds there. Room was basic, as to be expected in a hostel, but clean and fairly comfortable beds. Shared bathroom spotlessly clean. Large...

The hostel was clearly signposted and was in the middle of the city, and walking distance from everywhere. As part of the tourist tax, you got free travel around the city on public transport. The staff was friendly and helpful, giving a map and guide to the city with a couple of points on what to do. The room had...

This has an excellent location in the middle of the old city- you get a transport card included but you don't even really need it to see most of the sites! This hostel is the best value for money that I've stayed at in Switzerland- it's not an official hostel so there wasn't that additional fee, plus it had a...

We only stayed here for one night and the hostel was nice, comfy beds and clean bathrooms, full length mirror etc. However the guy at the office was annoyed that we had booked though hostel world as apparently the deposit goes straight to them not the hostel and I get the reeling he ripped us off as he charged us...

The location was great and they had a nice lounge area, with couches, tables, music, and a tv with movies available. The kitchen was adequate, although we didn't cook. Our room had a sink inside the private room which was really nice for the little things. They had tons of brochures and really helpful maps to navigate the beautiful city...

This hostel has a brilliant location in the center of Bern. The price is not that good for a hostel, but it's Switzerland so there is not a cheap option available. The staff were helpful. An oukkey common area. There were bunk beds in the room.

Location is good. Shared kitchen is quite clean and organized. However, the hostel is sharing an entrance with a pub and so one might find drunk weird people standing there from time to time. Not many facilities in the room. I stayed 2 nights there. On the first night (a thursday), there was no problem. But on friday night, the...

Bern is a charming city, definitely recommend staying here for a night or 2. There is not a great deal to do, walking tours/bear sanctuary/shops. But it is picturesque and much nicer and quieter than Zurich! The hostel was very easy to find, follow the given directions on the tram and the stop is right outside the street for the...

Nice option for a cheap stay in Bern. I was in a bedroom with 6 beds with my father and sister... It had comfortable beds, clean bathrooms and showers. The greatest thing about this hostel is definitely the location, absolutely perfect!
