The Gaia is always welcoming and staff friendly and genuinely accommodating. I love staying here. My room was unique and the bed was one of the most comfortable beds in any hotel ... breakfast was lovely!

Just spent 3 nights ar this hotel. Booked a room at the back of the hotel which was very quiet. Not at all cramped. The shower was very good. Breakfast was excellent with a lot of choice. Dining room is interesting and attractive. Staff were friendly and helpful. Very convenient hotel for the railway and bus stations. We'd definitely stay...

The Gaia Hotel is a charming, clean hotel, and it could not be more conveniently located near the SBB main train station. The staff is friendly and professional, the breakfast filling and good, and the rooms are clean and a good value.

Here on business. GAIA is located at the SBB train station. Great location for getting around and about. However you will hear the noise of the street and the trains/buses. Clean hotel with good amenities.

I know this hotel for 12 years at least. Twice a year, during the most important Fairs in Basel, the prices are skyrocketing, and you pay this modest hotel at the price of 7-star hotel in Dubai or Doha. After refurbishing the rooms are smaller, decoration is very minimalist and sauna and masaje centre downstairs are at the size of...

This hotel has the attributes of a five star hotel, other than no restaurant(open for breakfast only). Management is meticulous about keeping the quality standards at the highest level. Great new Spa area. Right across from main train station. Eco friendly.

We chose the Gaia for its location and happy to say thst overall the location, room, wifi, breakfast was excellent. The room was available for us at check in which was at 11am . Front office staff were very helpful and assisted us with even calling our cruise line and getting all details for us. They gave us a late...

I stayed only one night at the Gaia Hotel but it was a very good experience. I had a 1 person room wich was fine. The room was clean and tidy and had a very nice bathroom with a hairdrayer. The wifi was included and from good quality. The minibar was also included but not so many different drinks in...

Very nice hotel located in center of Basel. Good for business trips. Rooms are well equipped and breakfast is nice bonus, considering number of hotels in the same are doesn't offer breakfast in the price.

This is a good hotel in a convenient location. Close to the railway station, the city center, and the zoo. I have found my room was small for the price, but it was equipped with all the essentails. The staff member was good. The safe in my room was not large enough to accomodate my notebook computer, and I felt...
