A very nice hotel in a lovely old building in the old town of Perugia - great value for money! Just a very short walk to the elevator, and then you are right in the centre of the old town. My room was cosy with a balcony facing a nice courtyard. Breakfast was good, and in the evening you can...

A very nice hotel in the centre of old Perugia, near to Piazza della Republicca and also to the Minimetro. The hotel is very clean, the beds are comfortable, the breakfast is good and the staff is helpful and friendly. What more can you wish? I really recommend this hotel.

I have read many reviews on trip advisor for San Ercolano and I am happy to say that we absolutely loved this hotel. I have lived in Perugia for some time before so I know the area very well and therefore knew that the hotel was sufficiently close to the centre- either via a lot of stairs or there is...

Boasting a privileged location, this hotel is in a magnificent old building. The hotel was easy to find at the small alley just Pincetto minimetro-station close by. The hotel had everything you need and the price is really reasonable. In winter, the hotel was quite cool. That was the only minus in my opinion. Fortunately, there was a thick duvet....

Excellent service. Very very friendly and helpful staff. Would definitely recommend this hotel +++. Feels like being in a house. Great location, easy to find (there are roadsigns pointing towards the hotel).

Difficult to access by car, hard to climb to with luggage, many stairs & no lift, the young man in reception had no conception of the difficulties of parking and lugging baggage up to the hotel and up the stairs. He could have been clearer in his explanations. Ask for a room on a lower floor if you are concerned...

This hotel is a bargain for central Perugia. However, the funicular was closed for maintenance ( all August!) so one reason for choosing it ( handy location for it) was not relevant. We also chose a family room and our friends got a balcony but we did not. I see from the reviews that some rooms have great views, surprising...

The best thing about this small hotel is its price- very reasonable if you are looking for something cheap and central. Booked on line in advance, for eight days it cost 240 euro. It is in a little street around the corner from the imposing façade of the church of San Ercolano, which you can see daily as you go...

The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful! The location was perfect and having our own balcony to the room was such an added pleasure. We kept joking that we felt like Romeo and Juliet! The room itself felt like something right out of an Italian storybook, very pretty and comfortable. Free parking was available literally 2 minutes away from the...

We stayed there only one night, and found the hotel a little old and dusty. However, it's in the city center, so you can really just walk around and enjoy the narrow streets of Perugia. Don't buy breakfast at the hotel, it's better to have one at a "bar". Ask at the reception for a special permit to park in...

“Ask for the higher rooms with views of Assisi- I think our room number was 51. And DON'T book with a company like booking.com, as they have deals with the hotel for the more average rooms. I contacted the hotel directly via email and organised a nicer room with a view, for only about 20-30 euro extra over the 4 nights we stayed.”
