This is a great hotel. It is located on a quiet street just off the Corso Vanucci--a main piazza for shopping and restaurants. So everything is nearby. The underground City is around the corner and the College is at the end of the piazza which always is filled with cheerful people. Staff at the hotel are friendly and warm. I...

I have been meaning to review this hotel since we were there last year. It really is a little gem. The staff were extremely helpful and spoke good English. The hotel is light, bright, spotlessly clean and neutral without lacking character. The breakfast was simple but good and the service very friendly. We were left a huge chocolate egg in...

On arrival, we were allocated a very basic triple room. After complaining to the reception staff, we were shown a far superior room at no extra cost. After having a goood sleep, we went down for breakfast. A beautiful dining room with frescos on the ceiling. The breakfast was one of the poorest we have ever experienced. The 'fruit juice'...

This hotel is in an ideal location, just a few turns from the escalators at the top of Perugia’s Citi Alta. The staff was polite. They were knowledgeable of local bus and transportation information and had schedules to give us, They had good advice on how to get about. The hotel has a lot of charm and some very interesting...

We started our trip to Italy here, collecting our son from his semester abroad in Perugia. This hotel was an oasis for us and a great start to the trip. It was convenient, quiet and served a great breakfast! The staff was friendly, and very helpful. The location was close to the main attractions but just enough removed to be...

This three day stay was my second time at the Hotel Fortuna. It is located in a central position steps from Piazza Italia where one of the local buses from the main rail station terminates. The hotel, although ancient, has been brought up to modern standards while retaining the original character of the building’s frescos and stonework. The staff at...

We stayed at this hotel for 2 nights over Valentine's weekend. We booked the least expensive/economy room, and understood that meant no views. However, the room they gave us was extremely hot and humid, like a sauna, even though the main heater was off (only one radiator in the bathroom on). We tried opening the window (located by the ceiling,...

This hotel, in the center of medieval Perugia is hard to find - a police car we found in the center had us follow him there. Then you get to a pedestrian street with a post in the middle of it. Pick up the phone on the wall and the hotel will lower the post. That said it is well...

We booked this hotel the night before leaving, after visiting the usual suspects for finding hotels online we made a phone call to the hotel directly to check availability. While first of all we were quoted a mid price room, after asking we matched the internet offers. The hotel was relatively easy to find with a car, just following the...

Stayed one night as we were cycling through Tuscany and Umbria. Of the hotels we saw in central Perugia this one did seem the most pleasant, lovely views, good sized room, and free internet access! However breakfast very basic, and blamed us for losing room key even though we had handed it in at reception. They eventually found it but...
