This hotel isn’t top notch, but can be a good value. First the good news – we had a great view from our room. But there are so many shortcomings that I hesitate to recommend it wholeheartedly. Our “Executive Double Room” just had a bit more space, but not useful space. The shower was tiny and the furnishings just OK....

I spent a week at the Fortuna Hotel and enjoyed it thoroughly. Friendly and dependable staff, clean rooms, good breakfast. Being a 14th century building, the elevator doesn't reach all floors, and some rooms will require climbing a few stairs; if you have serious problems with your luggage, you can probably just let them know in advance so they can...

We stayed at the Hotel Fortuna as part of a Backroads tour. The hotel is situated just off the main square & close to a great outside bar with views over the countryside. The decor is typical Italian & our room had a very ornate painted ceiling. We had 2 ensuite bathrooms which were very clean & well appointed. The...

This time we stayed as part of a group and enjoyed our experience just as much. It is old and quaint which adds some welcome character. We wouldn't hesitate in returning again if we happen this way. We stayed in Room 501 which was worth the climb on the top floor next to an outdoor terrace where the views are...

Stayed as part of a tour group. Hotel is in historic section of town so interior has many tight twists and turns. Our room was on the 2nd floor. Lift was tiny and stairs were many and in numerous sections. Rooms weren't numbered sequentially so had lots of fun finding our room. The room was quite roomy and on two...

We stopped here for one night as part of an organised tour. The hotel is quiet and quirky with tiny elevators and lots of steps (even inside the room ). The room was clean and large by European standards. Wifi was complimentary and we found it to work well . Breakfast was also complimentary and adequate.

I really liked everything about this unique, historic hotel which nestles in a quiet, narrow pedestrian-only laneway in the heart of Perugia. We were in luck with the room allocation, as our spacious room (Room No. 309, a “Double Room Executive”) had two pleasant bathrooms and opened into a large and ornate public sitting room on the third floor, from...
