The farmhouse "Borgo San Benedetto," located inside the ancient Fortress walls, from it takes the name, offers its guests a completely renovated structure totally preserving the traditional Umbrian style. The first documents witnessing the existence of the Fortress date back to the XIIth century, although it is thought to be still more ancient. The Fortress had initially been built as a defense of the nearby "San Benedetto" monastery.

Fabrizia and Luka make You feel special and unique as their guests. It's a family business which means that they really care. You will find Yourself on top of the mountain with beautiful and calming views. You will enjoy great local food and drinks that Fabrizia (the owner) makes. We were impressed how they care to keep the place clean and neat. In the morning you can experience the region or stay in a pool and in the evening you chat with the owners or enjoy family time with Your folks. We were desperate to relax on that trip and we got much more than we expected - relaxation, lots of sun, wonderful Italian food and great hospitality. Thank You - molto grazie :)

We arrived on a clear summers evening to enjoy lying in a hammock with a beer enjoying wide reaching views across surrounding countryside. Happily we elected to eat at the hotel and were extremely impressed by the quality of food, not to mention the goliath amounts and jugs of wine. The hosts couldn't have been more friendly or helpful and the setting couldn't have been more peaceful. I will be recommending this place to my friends and family. If you are worried about the remoteness, there is TV (Italian) and reasonable free wifi, and the very picturesque but sizeable town of Gubbio only 20minutes drive away. Don't stay here if you hate great views, tranquility, good food and welcoming hosts.

We stayed in one of the apartments in this wonderful agriturismo for four nights during a two week trip to Italy. We were warmly welcomed by Fabrizia who brought us delicious cookies and cakes each day. The optional dinner was delicious regional home cooking. The apartment was super clean with all conveniences and a nice comfortable bed. This is a great place to go if you are looking for a quiet, less touristy, off the beaten path experience.

Stayed here for five nights and had a fabulous stay. The hosts are extremely friendly and excellent cooks if you want to enjoy the local kitchen. Our two sons of 2 and 4 also enjoyed it a lot because of the animals. You can cook yourself too in the kitchen in the apartment. The surroundings are fabulous, we simply wanted to live here.
