this is really a nice place. The view does not stop to amaze. It does not get more Tuscan country than this. The swimming pool with private seats, the apartment with everything there. The terrace near the restaurant with a lounge area were you can take your own drinks and enjoy the view. Perfect. The only warning.... It is a wine house. They make wine in September and are very busy with it (of course). Do not stay at the rear apartment at that time. The noise and flies are quite annoying.

During our football trainingcamp we stayed in Casetta 1 for the first time. Usually we stayed in another house in Prato but this time we moved to Vinci and stayed in Casetta 1. Casetta 1 is situated in a quite area between some vineyards. The house itself is divided in 5 apartments which has everything you need, double/single beds and a sleepingcouch, a small kitchen with oven included, and a bathroom. The rooms can be a little noisy but it's not annoying at all. The view outside the house is breathtaking, really worth to watch the sunset. The house has an outside swimmingpool, unfortunately it's closed because of the wintertime. From the house in Vinci you can visit Florence, Pisa, Siena, Bologna in a 30-60 minute drive. Thanks to Dario who was very friendly and helped us very well! We definitely come back with the team!

Just returned from a 14-day stay with 16 persons (mostly family members and several friends) who all thoroughly enjoyed our visit. Location is fantastic - situated high on a ridge south of Vinci with unbelievably beautiful views and incredible daily sunsets - we never got tired of sitting on the patio admiring the sites. From a logistics standpoint, the villa and the Vinci/Empoli area was an ideal starting point for our many day trips (via train or car) to many central Italy sites including: Florence, Pisa, Sienna, San Gimignano, Rome and even Venice. A day at the famous Viareggio beach resort was a great break too and only an hour away. The management staff (Dario, Andrea and Teresa) couldn't have been nicer or attentive - putting on several fantastic dinners for the group which everyone raved about. They truly made us feel welcome and part of their family. The suites were nice and comfortable but we didn't spend much time in them other than to sleep and cook as the weather was so pleasant. A/C was a 10/day option per suite and worth it for some of our party. The mosquitoes were a problem at times so we had plenty of bug spray and burned citronella in the evenings. The pool and surrounding area were great and refreshing - something you'd expect from a luxury resort! We spent countless hours there. We were also there during the grape harvest which was fascinating to watch. The wine they make there was served during the meals and was paired perfectly with the food. Their "L' Orlando" (Barique) is an award winning wine of superb quality - we brought a case home between us. Thank you again Dario, Teresa, Andrea and John Carlo for giving us memories for a lifetime! We plan on returning.

Great place for individual holidays in a charming Agriturismo. Our apartment was spacious and clean. No balcony, but nice community terrace and pool with a wonderful view into the Tuscan hills. Breakfast and dinner (valuable) are optional and bookable on-site. It is also possible for guests to barbecue in the garden on their own. Landlord and staff were very friendly and helpful. All in all we spent some very beautiful days in this delightful spot.

Beautiful view, nice swimming pool, perfectly located (famous places within acceptable driving range) and it's owned by Dario, who is the most friendly and open person we met during this holiday. You must try their wines, for which they will arrange a proper tasting session (with excellent food!), and if you would like to see how they make them, just ask and they will happily show you.
