This hotel is a great place to stay while sightseeing in Tuscany. We were there for 6 nights & did day trips to surrounding towns to see Tuscany. The staff is very helpful & courteous. We had an apartment with a loft & it was authentic Italy. We were traveling with friends who had a double room & they were...

This is my second time back to this lovely hotel & I was not disappointed. We arrived on bikes from Chianti region to find our bags had been received by courier & already in our room. The staff here are extremely polite, helpful & engaging! Hotel is situated just outside the Siena walls, in a lovely peaceful hotel which resembles...

What an amazing hotel! We arrived earlier than expected, but our room was ready which was perfect. The rooms are beautiful, really grand and Italian - great shower too. The receptionist was very helpful and showed us the best route into the city, which is about a 25 minute walk, but a very pretty one. We were invited to join...

This hotel was absolutely lovely and the staff were so welcoming and friendly. If we had been travelling by car I would have had no problem with giving 5 stars. The only issue we had was getting to and from Siena in the heat. It is probably only about 20 minutes walk and would not be a problem if you...

Dear Guests, thanks so much for your review. I agree with you. It's a very hot summer but we have to think positive: better the sun than the rain (Italian philosopy) I hope to meet you back at Borgo Grondaie. If I can suggest you a season, October is a fantastic period to come. Sincerely Gaia

This is the third time we have stayed here and it has become our home away from home. Only 2K walk to the city center and the grounds are very well kept. You have no idea that you are that close to the city center. This time we opted for an apartment and loved it. The staff is very friendly...

We stayed for 5 nights in June 2016. We took day trips from here and it was always nice to return to this beautiful property each evening. Even when we went to Siena for the day--which was crowded with tourists--it was nice to escape to what felt like being in the country--even though just minutes from the city center! Everyone...

The perfect base of operations for a few days touring Siena, Chianti, Montalcino, etc. After a day of sightseeing you will relish the tranquil oasis within walking distance of everything you need. 10 minute walk from the Train Station where there is the longest escalator in Italy up to Siena Centro. There is a great coop supermarket less than 5...
