If you don't like big city hotels that's the place for you. A typical Toscaniam old house, renovated off course, nice and clean, quite and with a view on Siena. Like a dream! The owner is very nice! Plenty of parking. You can have a tour in the winery on property and buy a couple of bottles to take home....

So, having fallen in love with Siena when watching the film infamous for its idyllic scenery 'Letters to Juliet', I was excited, to say the least, to be staying in a 13th century castle-come-villa in the heart of Siena's beautiful countryside. 'Villa Cambi'.. Even the name slipped off my tongue in much the same way as I imagined the rolling...

We rented a 2 bed apartment with it's own entrance as we were travelling with 2 children. The apartment was big and accommodated 2 double bedrooms (one on each floor) and a small lounge with a futon. The pros include the view and the large accommodation. The cons include the cost of extras such as food and the numerous Mosquitos,...

The views from this villa that is just outside Siena are amazing and what makes this place worth staying at. The villa itself is old, that being part of the charm, but don't hope that it is five star. You are there to take in the ambiance of a 12th century property and enjoy the experience. The morning view to...

Well maintained vineyard about 20 minute drive from parking for central Siena. We stayed in a good sized apartment, with lots of windows and French doors leading to an outside sitting area. View of Siena right outside our door. Quiet and private. Clean and well appointed with small dining table and couch in one room and a large bed with...

Very good service! I booked the hotel via booking.com. The booking was cancelled by some reason. I contacted Margherita, the manager of the Hotel Villa Cambi. She did a great job, retrieved the booking and even waited for us Sunday evening, till we arrived. The villa is very old, but well kept. Stuff is very good and friendly. Views are...

We arrived there for dinner, we arranged this in advance, but because we travel with a vegan teenager and a 11-old who doesn't eat much, the dinner cost us pretty much. The property is on a vineyard, very nice and peaceful. The road to the B&B, so typically for Tuscany... View on Siena from the property. We stayed in a...

We were visiting Siena with a car, and Villa Cambi was an excellent choice for us. Some of the reviews have various negative remarks, but all in all, we are so glad that we stayed here. We had the white room, which was roomy enough for the two of us. The bedspread did have a light stain on it, but...

I'm keeping this brief... Adequate Lacked attention on a number of levels - surroundings, untidy, lawns need cutting, pool needed a clean but never got one, a little welcome pack wouldn't go amiss, big mosquito problem and no assistance with candles etc, breakfast ok for price, been on better wine tasting tour, washer came in useful but we were askd...
