The view from this family owned and operated B&B is AMAZING. One of the most relaxing evenings of your life awaits you. Take the 10 minute walk into San Gimignano, Pick up some cheese, jam, and a bottle (or 2) of Chianti and go back and sit on their spacious patio and simply soak in the view. A truly once in a lifetime experience!! And, don't forget the breakfast!! Excellent!! One should expect that I Coppi, like other Tuscan B&Bs, have very firm beds. Also, don't be surprised that they ask you to sign a receipt that looks very much like a credit card bill---it isn't. So, don't be concerned that you're paying twice for your prepaid room.
We’ve just comeback from 2 night stay at I Coppi and we want to be transported straight back there. It beat all our expectations even having read all the reviews. Anna and her family really welcome you into their beautiful Italian home. Upon arrival we were greeted with the most friendly welcome and then shown the view which they are so proud of and so they should be, you are treated to a picture perfect window of Tuscany. Pictures just don’t do it any justice and you won’t want to stopping looking. Our room was on the ground floor with doors that looked out onto the vista, plenty on table and chairs around the Porto enjoy the views with a coffee or glass of wine. The rooms are traditionally decorated, very spacious and clean. Breakfast is served upstairs in the family home lovely prepared by Anna. A plentyful table of charcuterie, cheeses, breads, homemade cakes, juices etc. Anna cooks fresh omelettes and freshly brewed coffee. You have to try her home produced olive oil over her bruschetta, we wished we didn’t have hand luggage only as we would have brought some home for sure. The B&B is only a 10min walk up to the centre of the town, slight incline but helps to walk off all the delicious delicacies. Across the road from the B&B is a deli ( Alimentare ) you can buy water, wines and delicious snacks. If you book you’re stay, you will not be disappointed we will return without hesitation. …
Stay here for one night during stop in San Gimignano. It’s next to the town (5-10 mins walk). Great view overlooking the olive farm. In the morning, we had the best best best Bruschetta we have ever tasted in our life. I didn’t know that they produce the olive oil themselves, I regret not buying one. The olive oil, with fresh mozzarella, basil and great balsamico truly a match in heaven. I wished I ate more of it when I was there..
We are still enjoying this beautiful place as I write this review using their very good wifi. The location is picture perfect beautiful and great place to do day trips from. The people who own and live here are beyond kind and friendly. Breakfast is great and Anna can’t do enough for you. Just enjoy!
Had a lovely stay, looked after by Anna and her family. Room overlooked vineyards and nice and easy to walk into town. Free parking and breakfast for upstairs with an even better panaroma of the valley.
